Oh my god, file this one under “Spoof Videos That I Wish Would Become Real Life” — it’s “The Wire: The Musical,” featuring original cast members Michael K. Williams as “Omar,” Andre Royo as “Bubbles,” and Sonja Sohn as “Kimma,” singing and dancing about drug dealing, shooting heroin, and busting caps! Seriously, why can’t this work? I would happily drive to Baltimore for opening night. (On another note, who ate Stringer Bell?) [Funny Or Die]
Well, this might be the strangest, if not the funniest, “Downton Abbey” spoof. Richard Kind and a host of other semi-recognizable actors star in “Downton Arby’s” about a noble family about to lose their Arby’s franchise. Sybil is still flirting with the help (this time, a curly fry guy), Bates and Anna fall in love at the griddle, O’Brien and Thomas are conniving drive-thru tellers, and Edith is still kind of pathetic and overlooked. Just like the real “Downton,” only with more greasy roast beef. Check out the video after the jump! [The FW.com]

Emma Stone, Andy Samberg, Nick Cannon, the essence of Hugh Grant in every single movie he has ever made, and “America’s Kidz Got Singing” star Jenna Maroney have a dream. And that dream is that your butt will be in a seat on the opening night of “MLK Day.” It’s a feel-good rom-com about blacks and whites, love and heartbreak, and not having a date with whom to observe a government holiday.
It looks terrible. And thankfully, it only exists on “30 Rock.” [BuzzFeed]
On Tuesday night, Katie Couric sat down with Jimmy Kimmel to talk about where she’s going from here. She discussed her new talk show but also said that she has a new reality series in the works. “I’m particularly excited about that. That’s what clinched the deal for me,” she said. “Because, you know, I thought people really deserved an inside look at my life because it’s so fascinating,” Cut to a promo of “Kate Plus 80.” “Okay you little monsters, dinner time,” Katie yells into a bullhorn, before slingshotting pasta and spaghetti sauce all over a big group of kids. “You get what you get and you don’t get upset.” Who knew she had good comedic timing?

While most of Hollywood was feelin’ classy after the Academy Awards
, a select group of starlets wasn’t afraid to get crass for the sake of fitness. On “Jimmy Kimmel Live: After the Academy Awards,” Jessica Alba
, Minka Kelly, Jessica Biel and Sofia Vergara
made a mock infomercial for a new workout craze called Hottie Body Humpilates. “Hump it up. Hump it down. Take a train to humpy town!” Jimmy sang, as the girls thrusted at oversized exercise balls. Then Eva Longoria
appeared to give her glowing review of the workout: “I couldn’t stop humping! I hump everywhere—at work, at the beach, in the car.” Finally, Lindsay Lohan
put in her two cents: “Lions hump upwards of 40 times a night. I’ve spent thousands of hours watching them.” Funny. Keep reading »
