Emma Stone, Andy Samberg, Nick Cannon, the essence of Hugh Grant in every single movie he has ever made, and “America’s Kidz Got Singing” star Jenna Maroney have a dream. And that dream is that your butt will be in a seat on the opening night of “MLK Day.” It’s a feel-good rom-com about blacks and whites, love and heartbreak, and not having a date with whom to observe a government holiday.

It looks terrible. And thankfully, it only exists on “30 Rock.” [BuzzFeed]

The Muppets Take “The Green Lantern”

I’m having a hard time staying patient while waiting for the new Muppet movie, which won’t be in theaters until Thanksgiving. So I’m happy that Jason Segel, Amy Adams, Kermit, Miss Piggy, Fozzie Bear and crew have taken to making parodies of the big movies of summer 2011. In this brand new one, the Muppets do “The Green Lantern.” I love the line, “If I didn’t know better, I’d say you were reciting some sort of important plot point.” [Huffington Post]

After the jump, more Muppet movie parodies. Keep reading »

Katie Couric In “Kate Plus 80″

On Tuesday night, Katie Couric sat down with Jimmy Kimmel to talk about where she’s going from here. She discussed her new talk show but also said that she has a new reality series in the works. “I’m particularly excited about that. That’s what clinched the deal for me,” she said. “Because, you know, I thought people really deserved an inside look at my life because it’s so fascinating,” Cut to a promo of “Kate Plus 80.” “Okay you little monsters, dinner time,” Katie yells into a bullhorn, before slingshotting pasta and spaghetti sauce all over a big group of kids. “You get what you get and you don’t get upset.” Who knew she had good comedic timing?

Lindsay Lohan And Eva Longoria Want You To Try Humpilates

While most of Hollywood was feelin’ classy after the Academy Awards, a select group of starlets wasn’t afraid to get crass for the sake of fitness. On “Jimmy Kimmel Live: After the Academy Awards,” Jessica Alba, Minka Kelly, Jessica Biel and Sofia Vergara made a mock infomercial for a new workout craze called Hottie Body Humpilates. “Hump it up. Hump it down. Take a train to humpy town!” Jimmy sang, as the girls thrusted at oversized exercise balls. Then Eva Longoria appeared to give her glowing review of the workout: “I couldn’t stop humping! I hump everywhere—at work, at the beach, in the car.” Finally, Lindsay Lohan put in her two cents: “Lions hump upwards of 40 times a night. I’ve spent thousands of hours watching them.” Funny. Jimmy Fallon’s “Real Housewives Of Late Night” Is Back For Season Two

It took four years, but I am finally feeling “Real Housewives” fatigue. I couldn’t bring myself to watch Tuesday night’s premiere of “The Real Housewives of Miami” — but, I am very, very excited for Jimmy Fallon‘s awesomely well-done spoof series, “The Real Housewives of Late Night,” where he and several of his staff members dress up like ladies for 10-minute mock episodes of the show. (The last one, from December, is above.) “The Real Housewives of Late Night” begins its second season tonight—Jimmy has made five mini-episodes which will air every other Thursday night. “It did make me really see how much women go through to get ready,” Fallon says of the series. “I have great makeup and hair people doing it. I could never picture myself doing it; it would take three hours. … By the time we did one of these, I was looking in the mirror thinking, does this make me look fat?” I’ll be watching tonight, for sure. Ain’t Nothin’ But A “Glee” Thang, Baby

Heather Morris, Matthew Morrison, Naya Rivera, Cory Monteith, and several other familiar “Glee” faces teamed up for this Funny or Die spoof, “Ain’t Nothin’ But A ‘Glee’ Thang.” It’s reasonably funny, though I think it would have packed a lot more punch if Dr. Dre or Snoop Dogg had made an appearance (hey, Snoop did the “Oh Sookie” video), or if the teens in the intro were sipping on gin and juice. That said, I do like the bit where Sofia Vergara gushes about Jane Lynch, which sure feels like a make good for the time her “Modern Family” co-star said Jane didn’t deserve her Emmy. And I also appreciated the random diss on AT&T in here. True dat. Keep reading »

Fake “Scream 4″ Poster Says There’s Only Room For 5 Pop Divas

At first glance you might think Beyoncé is in “Scream 4” with … Lady Gaga? And Rihanna? And then, whoa, what? Christina Aguilera‘s in “Scream 4,” too, and she’s going to die?!?! Then you realize someone is just very good at Photoshop. And there’s only room for five pop divas in 2011, apparently. Watch your back, Xtina! [Guanabee] Keep reading »

Check This Out: Bloomingdale’s Spoof, “Clawmingdale’s”

The iconic Bloomingdale’s sack—you know, the bags that say “Little Brown Bag” or “Medium Brown Bag”—have become such status symbols that the department store has gone so far as to make real, durable totes and purses of the design. Making fun of this style, graffiti-inspired clothing line Claw Money has come up with a collection called “Clawmingdale’s.” Spoofing the Bloomie’s logo, the sweats and tees and even bags feature cheeky claw motifs with the signature font. Just in case you really feel like taking a swipe at Park Avenue princesses. [Claw Money via FabSugar] Keep reading »
