Snoop Dogg’s Tribute To “True Blood,” “Oh Sookie”
I was sure that I was the biggest “True Blood” fan ever, but then I saw Snoop Dogg’s tribute video/song to Sookie Stackhouse and I was like, “Bitch, you’ve been dethroned.” “Oh Sookie” proves the rapper has an impressive knowledge of the show, with lyrics like: “Bring a friend/Matter fact, bring your best friend/Tara/I’ve got some real eggs for her to eat”; “We’ll do it in the daytime/Bill won’t know a thing”; “Won’t trick you like Eric/And make you drink blood”; and “Sam ain’t a man/He done turned into a bitch.” Snoop, you have outdone yourself. Is The Real Life Romance On “True Blood” Too Hot For TV?
Last night, the second season of “True Blood” premiered and I could not have been more excited. I find it to be one of the sexiest shows on television, a true guilty pleasure, and the over-the-top acting and ridiculous plot lines make it even more sinfully delicious. And the center of the show are the characters of Sookie Stackhouse and vampire Bill Compton, portrayed by real life couple Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer.
