Liberty Ross, the woman married to the director douche that Kristen Stewart snogged, is obviously and justifiably pissed. She posted this photo to her Instagram today, which depicts a drunk and crying Snow White (the role Stewart portrayed in the film Sanders directed — in which Ross also played her mother), writing, “Not so pretty or so pure after all….” Ouch. I do hope she’s saving up most of her ire for that shitbird husband of hers though… [via The Gloss]
I first realized that Charlize Theron would be the perfect Evil Queen from “Snow White” when I saw her in “Young Adult.” Wildly different movies in every way, no doubt, but the main takeaway? Theron knows how to play a vile bitch with such delicious and riveting energy that you almost root for her. And Queen Ravenna in the upcoming “Snow White and the Huntsman” (opening this weekend!) is as detestably evil as they come. Kristen Stewart and Co. are doing the press rounds for “Snow White and the Huntsman,” so naturally there’s loads of fashion fodder to go around. The cast turned out for a photo call in Berlin today, and while Kristen’s dress was certainly less ostentatious than her risky look for the world premiere, the long Derek Lam sheath she chose was a bit of a deviation from the fashion norm. For me, the pattern errs on the side of Hot Topic, but it could just be the thick chained belt that’s eclipsing my vision. I have to say I love the fit of this dress, and while I’m not usually partial to a checkerboard pattern, I think the edgy look could have worked fabulously on punky Kristen had she shed the wide belt. The premiere of “Mirror Mirror,” one of two upcoming Snow White movies, was a lavish affair with all kinds of costumed characters wandering the red carpet. Lily Collins (pictured at left), who plays Snow White, showed up in a gorgeous gown and raspberry lips, while Julia Roberts, who plays the evil queen, wore a basic black suit with a pink blouse underneath. There’s nothing wrong with her outfit, per se, and she certainly looks glowy and gorgeous, but she seems a bit dressed down for such a fun, colorful event (I mean, seriously, check out the guy on the far left–he’s killing it!). So, what do you think? Is Julia’s look simple and chic or just plain boring?
