You can weigh in on the good, the bad and the meh in real time. I’m calling that Charlize will look as fierce as her character. It’s almost as good as being there in person. Almost. Flowchart: Which Fairy Tale Villainess Are You?

Some of the most interesting characters in classic fairy tales (many of which have been translated into Disney films) are the “evil” queens, sorceresses, and crones who are at odds with the precious heroines. For example, in the upcoming film, “Snow White and the Huntsman,” Charlize Theron’s evil Queen Ravenna is so delightfully dark yet glamorous, that we’re already asking, “Uh, Snow White, who?” Seriously, characters like Ravenna, Cinderella’s evil step-mother, the sea witch from “The Little Mermaid,” Maleficent in “Sleeping Beauty,” and Gothel in “Rapunzel” are what give fairy tales their edge — but the question is, which one are you most like? Since she first arrived in Hollywood via South Africa, actress Charlize Theron has been one of the most daringly chic and fashionable celebs the red carpet has ever seen. in honor of her upcoming film, “Snow White & The Huntmans,” in which she plays Queen Ravenna — who is obsessed with beauty and immortality — let’s take a look back at Theron’s style. One of the many reasons why I’m psyched to see “Snow White and the Huntsman” is that it actually seems to be as dark as the original Brothers Grimm fairy tale was written. While the story has been Disney-fied in a couple incarnations, “Snow White and the Huntsman” is a seriously grim and disturbing story — exactly the way it should be! In preparation for the movie’s release on June 1, we’re going to be giving you a little insight into the backstory behind some of the key characters in our “Not Your Children’s Fairy Tale” video series. We’ve already told you about how evil Queen Ravenna (played by Charlize Theron) is out to eat Snow White’s heart so she can attain immortality, but why is our heroine such a threat to her anyway? Here’s some background on Snow White herself. Keep reading »

As far as I’m concerned, there’s no competition as to which upcoming “Snow White” movie I’ll choose to see — “Snow White And The Huntsman”! The Kristin Stewart and Charlize Theron-led vehicle looks as dark and sinister as the Brothers Grimm intended. Plus, hunky Chris Hemsworth — drooooool — plays the huntsman. Check out the extended trailer for the movie above, and a five-minute closer look at the film after the jump! Keep reading »

Her 10 Best Looks: Kristen Stewart

For a long time, Kristen Stewart was sort of the postergirl for slacker style. When she’d go to premieres and events it seems like she’d barely even bother running a comb through her hair. But these days? Maybe she’s gotten a stylist, or maybe she’s simply looked through a few pictures from past events, but she’s cleaned up quite nicely! Now we can’t wait to see what she wears to the premiere of her upcoming film, “Snow White and the Huntsman.” (I guess having a boyfriend that’s almost as pretty as you can’t hurt either.) After the jump, we cull through and find Stewart’s surprising 10 best looks!

“Snow White & The Huntsman” Videos Show Off Locations, Costumes And Action

“Mirror Mirror” may be hitting theaters first but the Snow White film I’m most excited for is “Snow White and the Huntsman” from director Rupert Sanders. We’ll be seeing a new trailer for the Kristen Stewart, Chris Hemsworth, Charlize Theron movie next week apparently, but until then, we’ve got four behind-the-scenes featurettes to keep you satisfied.
