Being that I love girly indie rock as much as I love booty-shakin’ pop, it’s no surprise that I kind of am majorly hearting this cover of Beyoncé‘s “Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It)” by some band called Pomplamoose. [via BuzzFeed]
The Jonas Brothers are a little behind on putting out a “Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It)” tribute, but we still appreciate Joe Jonas’ attempt at doing Beyonce’s signature moves while wearing a unitard and heels. Our only question: How does he not know all the words?!
We’re not tired of listening to Beyonce’s “Single Ladies (Put a Ring On It)” after however many months, and we still possess a not-so-secret desire to learn the choreography. So, we were fascinated by this video featuring 100 single ladies dancing in Picadilly Circus to promote Trident Unwrapped‘s Beyonce “I Am” concert contest. Someday, we’ll have the guts to put on a leotard and heels and show off our moves. [Trident Unwrapped via E! Online]
We’ve seen a lot of “Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It)” inspired videos, but this one might take the cake. This little girl has got Beyonce’s Bob Fosse moves down.
We’ve really caught Sasha Fierce fever here in The Frisky offices. At least once a day, “Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It)” blares from one of our computers. And some of us plan to learn the choreography this weekend. After watching the “Saturday Night Live” skit with Beyonce and Justin Timberlake, we knew there had to be other parody videos. And we were right (we really love when that happens). There are videos of men and women of different sizes and ages “performing” the choreography from “Single Ladies.” We even found a video in which “Mexican Breakfast” video was redubbed with “Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It).” As you know, Bob Fosse created the dance routine for “Mexican Breakfast” and Beyonce borrowed it for her video. After the jump check out the best of the rest of the parody videos.

Beyoncé‘s new song “Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It)” sends a mixed message. [Tango]
So, I took one look at Beyonce’s new video for “Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It)” and realized it was eerily familiar. One of my most favorite viral videos of all time is “Mexican Breakfast”, a Bob Fosse dance routine that was redubbed with DJ Unk’s “Walk It Out”. Check the original after the jump and try and tell me Beyonce didn’t straight up pull a Kenley.
