Earlier this week, Kate, Ami and I were waiting for our orders in front of our favorite falafel truck when we spotted a girl in the above green halter top dress. The lovely mossy green color was striking, especially paired with a brown leather belt and boots. The dress, $158 from Anthropologie, felt appropriately fall-like but still retained a sexy edge. And the color! The color was absolutely stunning. We liked it so much that I thought I’d search for other great pieces of mossy green goodness. Check out what I found!

We couldn’t help but fall a little bit for Peter Som’s exuberant, larger-than-life flower prints in his Spring/Summer 2012 collection. Make sure to keep everything else very, very basic. Check out our picks!
Among your cadre of summer-to-fall jacket options, consider the cropped trench. It’s cute, versatile and can be worn as both outerwear and — if you’re feeling particularly daring — as a blazer. We saw a girl wearing one today and were particularly covetous of the easy way the blazer fell over her long T-shirt and seemed to flop just perfectly over her clavicle. We’ve assembled 10 options for your perusal. Let us know what you think!
