Home Inspiration: 11 Colorful End Tables

I don’t know about you, but my bedside tables are boring.  Theose cheap Ikea tables were a great find six years ago, but after updating my bedside lamps, I find them depressing. These colorful beside tables put a much-needed smile on my face. Who knows, maybe all my end tables need is a fresh coat of paint…

This Alexander Wang eyelet suit costs hundreds more than my wedding dress! White eyelet never goes out of style, but there is no way in hell I would spend $1,000+ on a white suit. I’d have to wear a plastic poncho to protect the damn outfit from THE WORLD! I saw “Can’t Buy Me Love”! (Okay, so that was white leather, but still.) I’m getting anxiety just thinking about it. This eyelet tank and pencil skirt from Ann Taylor is 75 percent cheaper, making it a safer (on your wallet) bet for your summer functions.

Home Inspiration: Trays For $40 Or Less!

Jessica and I have a shared passion for trays, which probably stems from our shared phobia of germs. Trays are basically a cute way of telling others to CONTAIN THEIR MESS. These easy to clean trays can be used to serve food, organize makeup, collect papers, and protect furniture.  I have four: a small tray in my bathroom, provides easy clean up for moi, a powder foundation lover; a large tray in my living room transforms my cushioned ottoman into a coffee table; the always-handy plastic craft tray is a necessity for all my DIY projects; and last but not least, I have a serving tray which doubles as a breakfast-in-bed tray to catch every last crumb.

If you don’t have a tray, I don’t know how you function. Try one of these options for $40 or less!

What’s Your Wedding Dress Personality?

It’s that time of year again — wedding season. If you’re not planning your own wedding, you probably have one or 11 already on your summer calendar. I have three very different weddings this year and I’m looking forward to each and every one. I enjoy seeing how two people put their unique stamp on the event. As for the bride, I’m always excited to see a friend glowing on her special day. If you’re in the market for a wedding dress, or simply a sucker for a beautiful gown, take our wedding dress personality test! Keep reading »

Home Inspiration: Wine Racks For $50 Or Less

The “proper way” to store wine — butt up — originated out of a need to keep natural corks moist. Natural corks can dry and shrink over time allowing air into the bottle, oxidizing and spoiling the wine. Many wineries use screw tops and synthetic corks to minimize the risk, and let’s be honest, wine never lasts that long around me anyway. The real advantage to a wine rack is saving space. Check out these 11 wine racks for $50 or less.

Fashion Math: Silky Camis + Skorts (Yes, Skorts!)

That isn’t a typo! I did not mean to type “skirts” or “shorts.” The skirt/short hybrid of our middle school days is BACK, y’all! When I saw this photo of Reese Witherspoon rocking a skort with a silky cami, I was like, Wait, is this a thing or is just one lonely designer trying to bring the skort back? But a quick search confirmed it: SKORTS ARE EVERYWHERE and I, for one, am thrilled. All the femininity of a shirt, without having to worry about showing your chocha! What’s not to love?! So for this edition of Fashion Math, I took a cue from Reese and paired 10 skorts with 10 silky spaghetti strap camis, creating 10 spring-ready looks. Put on something nostalgic — Paula Abdul, perhaps? — and click through to check ‘em out!

I don’t know about you, but in spring, my purse doubles in size. I instantly need extra space for a cardigan, sunglasses, umbrella, scarf, bottle of water, a picnic blanket, a spare pair of shoes and other necessities for spring adventures. Unlike winter, every outing is a gamble. Will it be colder, warmer, windier, sunnier, or rainier than I suspect? It’s warm enough to flaunt pumps, but I’d rather walk home in flats. Hmm, would it be nice to eat lunch outside on the grass? The safest bet is to pack everything into a badass tote. Here are 10!

Must Haves: 11 Pairs Of Fun & Funky Overalls For Under $100

Overalls are back, bitches! No more living nostalgically through reruns of “Blossom” and “Full House,” because this spring, nothing says chic like a spruced up pair of dungarees. While classic, rolled-up overalls are popping up all over the place, it’s the ones with an edge that have been catching my eye. Floral print! Leather! Studded pockets! Click through this gallery to check out some must-have overalls with a twist…

Fashion Math: Lacey Blouses + Soft Printed Pants

Olivia Munn, above, is wearing a variation on what I call pajama fashion — a lacy blouse that looks like it could be the top half of a silky nightgown paired with slouchy silk printed pants not unlike those your mom or dad wore to bed. Pajama fashion is super comfy, but if you get the proportions right, it can also be a chic look for day (with flat sandals) or night (with wedges or strappy sandals). Hell, if you’re lazy enough, you can go straight to bed in one of these eight Fashion Math combos…
