Must Haves: 8 Dramatic Draped Dresses

Artfully draped fabric instantly makes any dress more interesting, and, as an added bonus, gives the illusion that it’s a much more expensive piece of clothing. With that in mind, here are eight of our favorite draped dresses, perfect for adding a little high fashion drama to your summer wardrobe. The best part? Most of them are less than $50. Enjoy!

Shopping Guide: 10 Sleeveless Summer Blouses

I used to harbor an inexplicable hatred for button-down blouses. Actually, I can explain. I don’t mean the actual blouses themselves, or on other people — I actually would see other people wearing them and be jealous of how good they looked. The problem was when I would try them on myself. Suddenly, my shoulders looked broad, my boobs flattened, and my hips enormous. I continued to try them every once in a while in hopes that I would one day be the type of girl who looked good in them… and now I am! My body didn’t change or anything, I just realized that I was going for the wrong type of shirt. Starchy button-downs still look terrible on my difficult-to-dress figure, but it turns out that a semi-sheer, silky blouse might even be my best look. They don’t fare well for the summertime, which is why I’m turning to the sleeveless variety to carry me through. Click through for 10 stylish, flattering sleeveless blouses perfect for wearing right now!

The Good, The Bad & The WTF: The 2012 CMT Awards

The CMT Awards come but once a year — a celebration of all things country music. We’re not particularly huge country music fans, but we can appreciate the way country music has veritably dominated pop music these days — that stuff is everywhere. And so it seems not that surprising to see mainstream stars like Jordin Sparks attending and Kristen Bell co-hosting the event. Carrie Underwood took home the award for Video of the Year — and also won kudos for her sparkly outfit. There seemed to be lots of champagne-colored frocks on the red carpet, which worked for some, and not so much for others. Take a look and let us know what you think in the comments.
