Watch Benedict Cumberbatch Solve His Most Adorable Mystery Yet On “Sesame Street”

Benedict Cumberbatch On Sesame Street
"I'm Not Actually Sherlock, I Just Play Him On TV."

In his titular role on BBC’s “Sherlock,” Benedict Cumberbatch has solved gruesome murders and thwarted terrorist attacks, but in an appearance on “Sesame Street,” he was faced with his … fruitiest mystery ever. Can Benedict Counterbatch determine how many apples and oranges are on the table? You’ll have to push play to find out. Also, is it just me or are Benedict’s cheekbones looking even more stunning than usual? He can count my apples anytime (I don’t really know what that means, but you get the idea). [YouTube]

Rejoice! The “Sherlock” Season 3 Trailer Is Here

Sherlock Season 3 Trailer
"I don't care how you faked it, I want to know why."

There are a lot of reasons to be excited about the upcoming new year: a fresh start, a bunch of well-meaning but ultimately forgotten resolutions, a new supply of vacation days, etc. But the most exciting thing about 2014? Season 3 of “Sherlock” debuts on New Year’s Day in the UK and January 19th in the US. As fans know, the stellar second season ended with a bang (and a fall, and so many questions, and so many tears). This amazing trailer for season 3 promises a few answers, many more questions, and the glorious return of Benedict Cumberbatch in a long, tweed coat. Cannot wait. [YouTube]

P.S. If you’re a “Sherlock” fan (and/or a feminist) and haven’t read Nicole Cliffe’s brilliant rankings of the first 6 episodes, please do that now.
