Over the weekend, Anne Hathaway said on “Chelsea Lately” that she and her “Love and Other Drugs” co-star Jake Gyllenhaal didn’t have real sex in the film, despite watching a slew of movies with actors actually doing the deed. “We decided from the get-go that real sex was out,” she said. “We watched some films that do real sex, and that makes me feel weird. There are some films where the actors really have sex.” This got us wondering just what films Hathaway was talking about. We couldn’t imagine her and Jake sitting around watching hardcore porn, so we dug up some of the most salacious mainstream films that were rumored to include real live sex scenes. Check ‘em out after the jump!
“There is that revoltingly embarrassing moment when you have to take your clothes off in front of strangers. I mean, I don’t go to the beach in a bikini for a reason. So I thought, ‘Okay, I’m going to be in control. I’m going to do everything properly, disrobe at the last minute, and in between shots get the clothes back on.’ But then I found that every time I put my robe back on, it rubbed all the body makeup off, and that added 20 minutes to filming. As with all things in life, the second you stop making it about you and you make it about everyone else, it just got, dare I say, fun.”

Now that having hair down there is so passe for women—and even for men—merkins are the new hot prop on Hollywood sets, especially for anything that takes place before the year 2000. If you have no idea what I’m talking about, that’s OK. I didn’t know what a merkin was until Kate Winslet won the Oscar for her role in “The Reader” and talked about her merkin non-stop. “Oh, for the love, I can’t even simulate sex without dying! I had a little asthma attack, without any prior knowledge that I had asthma, during the scene where we had to jump up and down for hours and hours screaming and yelling on the bed. [It] was humiliating, because it was the second day of shooting.”
