If you’re a die hard “Sex and the City” fan and would watch Carrie and company no matter how much the plot sucks, then don’t click through. But in case your trying to decide whether to relinquish $10 or more to watch them beat this dead horse, we’ve gathered all of the rumors about the sequel that we can get our hands on. POSSIBLE SPOILER ALERT!

Sarah Jessica Parker said she and the “Sex and the City” movie producers are trying to make the sequel recession-friendly, a tough task because “SATC” is all about luxury and fine living. To help out, we’ve put together a few ideas. If SJP and Darren Star use our suggestions, we expect to see “The Frisky” in the movie’s credits. And a pair of Manolos.

This time around there won’t be any will-it-ever-happen talk like there was with “Sex and the City: The Movie” because Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall and HBO have confirmed a sequel to the $153 million grossing film. In order to have a 2010 release, said Parker, production would have to begin this summer. Costume designer Patricia Field told MTV that a sequel is in the works, but only in the very early states and she has yet to receive any official information—which we take to mean a plot and a script.

It’s only been a few months since the “Sex and the City” movie premiered, but we’re just about ready for a run-in with our four best friends. So we’re really stoked that the movie is available on DVD and Blu-ray TODAY! As you know, the clothing, shoes, handbags and accessories were all fabulous in the movie, but what’s so great about SATC is that it always gives us a little clarity about our real lives, even if the dialogue is a tad cheesy. Put on your favorite Louboutins or Manolos or some other killer, knock-off FMPs and watch 2008’s best/worst chick flick.
