Don’t you just love it when celebs stop by “Sesame Street” to teach the kiddos a new word? Emma Stone is the latest star on the block and she’s teaching them “balance.” Or trying to, anyway.

I would love it if The Frisky were famous enough one day to do something like this. What do you think our word would be? [YouTube] Keep reading »

If a tough week at work has trodden on your self-worth, let the “Sesame Street” critters sing you into solace. “Change the World” is an adorable little ditty performed by the same girl puppet who proudly told the world she loved her hair. ”Change the World” sends a similarly positive message as our Muppet declares, “I am going to be the best me that I can be” — which is something we all can aspire to. It just gives you the warm and fuzzies, doesn’t it? [YouTube via Clutch Magazine Keep reading »

New Sesame Street Muppet Is Poor And Hungry

“Sesame Street” has got a hungry, impoverished new character—and it isn’t Oscar the Grouch or the Cookie Monster. Lily, a 7-year-old girl whose family often struggles to get enough to eat, will appear in the show’s prime-time special “Growing Hope Against Hunger” this Sunday, reports Entertainment Weekly. The Wal-Mart-sponsored special looks at the issue of hunger, which affects an estimated 17 million Americans. Read more…

Grover Turns Off The Dark

Ahhh, Grover. In this video, “Sesame Street” spoofs “Spider-man: Turn Off The Dark,” the musical that’s left several stars injured and is only ready to open after a whopping seven months of previews and revisions. If only Grover could actually save the musical. [BuzzFeed] Keep reading »

Bert Gets Down To Brass Tacks With Andy Samberg

Who knew that Bert, as in the best friend of Ernie, was such a hard-hitting interviewer? In this edition of “Conversations with Bert,” his version of “Inside the Actors Studio,” the yellow guy talks to Andy Samberg of “Saturday Night Live.” While Bert missed the obvious question of asking about his threeway with Justin Timberlake and Lady Gaga, he did ask how Andy feels about socks. “From my perspective, anyone who has a problem with socks needs to grow up. It’s been a long time coming. Socks are here to stay, and people who are anti-sock, to me, it’s immature, it’s short sighted — short minded,” replied Andy. To which Ernie added: “One day I’m hoping every sock will meet its match.” The rest of the interview is equally as amusing. [Huffington Post] Keep reading »

Kanye West’s Video Re-Imagined With Real Monsters

I wasn’t as bothered by Kanye West’s video for “Monster” as Jessica, but I think we both would agree that it would have been better if “Sesame Street” Muppets had been involved. Keep reading »

Is Cookie Monster The Next Betty White?

Cookie Monster wants to branch out and show that there is more to him than his enthusiasm for cookies. Homeboy wants to host “Saturday Night Live” and he wants us to help make his dream come true. Check out his audition tape. Um, he’s got my vote. I’m totally joining his Facebook group and I suggest you do as well. Let’s make this thing happen, Betty White-style. Ryan Reynolds Gets An “A+” For His “Sesame Street” Cameo

Naturally, I’m a fan of the letter “A.” Also a fan of hot dudes like Ryan Reynolds wearing silly costumes while singing and dancing with muppets. As far as I’m concerned he gets an “A+” for this little “Sesame Street” ditty, “The A Team.” [Just Jared] Keep reading »

“Sesame Street” Clings To Jude Law — And So Would We

In his recent appearance on “Sesame Street,” Jude Law was used to illustrate what the word “cling” means. The show had a mouse, an octopus, and a monkey “cling” to Law. Which, we suppose is slightly more appropriate than, say, Sienna Miller or Daisy Wright (the nanny he had an affair with) clinging to the star. [Best Week Ever] Keep reading »

See Katy Perry And Elmo Behind The Scenes On “Sesame Street”

You may remember how Katy Perry did a video with Elmo called “Hot N Cold,” and it was pulled from the tube because Perry’s outfit was deemed too hot ‘n’ sexy for young viewers to see.

In response to this fluffy red kerfuffle, you gotta check out this video of what really went down behind the scenes. Read more Keep reading »
