Politico reported that the Republican National Committee has spent more than $150,000 on clothes and accessories for Sarah Palin and her family since she became the party’s vice presidential candidate in late August. This handsome allowance included spending sprees worth $49,425.75 at Saks Fifth Avenue, $75,062.63 at Neiman Marcus, and $4716.40 on hair and makeup.
