Real talk: I actually think Sarah Michelle Gellar’s outfit is executed a little sloppy. The leggings look a little stretched out and I think I saw some stains when I was zoomed in on the original photo. But who cares? I’m not judging! I am still wearing my Thanksgiving Day fat pants. What matters is that the elements of this outfit are super cute — especially that knit animal-print skirt! — and easily replicated on a budget. Find out how to get it, after the jump! Keep reading »

How freakin’ gorgeous does Sarah Michelle Gellar look here, you guys? The floral maxi dress, teal cardigan, slouchy leather bag, and bright blonde highlights, all topped off with a beautiful pregnant glow is almost too much for me to handle. And then–as if enough flawless fashion sense wasn’t already present in this photo–there’s little Charlotte Prinze rocking a leopard print tutu, pink glitter Toms, and a big smile to match her mom’s. This family is killing me. In a good way. [Photo: Fame/Flynet]
I would not be that surprised if I found out this photo was engineered by an evil scientist to make our hearts explode from cuteness. I mean seriously, it’s got Sarah Michelle Gellar’s round belly, her adorable daughter Charlotte Prinze (left) wearing a ballerina outfit, another adorable toddler ballerina for good measure, and even a teeny tiny pair of pink glitter TOMS (check out Charlotte’s feet!). Yep, we’re definitely dead. [Photo: Fame/Flynet]
Amelia and I were just talking about how much better we think Taylor Swift looks with bangs than without. Ever since she took the bangs plunge earlier this year, Swift just looks way more elegant and chic. The bangs really frame her face and make her look more mature.
I’ll probably always have bangs, because I’m too impatient to grow my hair out, and sideswept bangs seem to really frame my face best. And Amelia has had bangs for basically her entire life, ever since her mom gave her an epic bowl cut in 1984. But bangs don’t necessarily work on everyone.
We’ve got several other celebs who got banged up in the past year — sometimes for better and sometimes for worse. Let us know what you think in the comments!

All summer, I have been oh so excited for Sarah Michelle Gellar‘s return to television in “Ringer,” a show about a recovering alcoholic twin on the run from the mob who seizes the opportunity to assume her estranged sister’s life after she commits suicide. Last night, the show finally premiered on The CW. And overall, my feelings on it were … mixed. (If you haven’t watched yet, be warned—SPOILERS ahead.) Keep reading »
It looks like James Franco sure started a trend when he appeared on “General Hospital.” Today, we hear reports that both Jennifer Aniston and Sarah Michelle Gellar are signing in for soap opera stints. Luckily, they aren’t doing it as performance art, though. Jennifer has a very practical reason for agreeing to guest star on “Days of Our Lives.” Her father John Aniston has been on the show for the last 24 years, and now NBC has said the series is on the chopping block due to low ratings. “I didn’t realize how much I miss the atmosphere until I started back. There’s something about television—seeing the same people everyday, looking forward to the scripts. I’m loving it more than I thought I was going to … I want to be able to go home at night and see my daughter,I want to be there for her first day of school and her school recital. Television offers me that — they’re amazing at working around schedules. All of the big milestones I’m there for.”
—Sarah Michelle Gellar talks about life on the set of her new show, “Ringer,” years after wrapping “Buffy the Vampire Slayer.” Wait a second—I had no idea that she and husband Freddie Prince Jr. had a baby. But, yes, they do! Her name is Charlotte and she is 22 months. And Freddie is staying home with her while her mama works. Cute! Now, where have I been? [People] Keep reading »
Comic-Con 2011 kicks off today with panels for “Breaking Dawn,” “Game of Thrones,” “Dexter,” and much more. But perhaps the most anticipated panel of the day will be for Sarah Michelle Gellar‘s return to network television, “Ringer.” The panel will be going down at 1:45 p.m., but The CW has released the first poster for the show this morning. Almost as exciting as the fact that the show stars Buffy as two characters? Nester Carbonell, aka Richard Alpert of “Lost,” is in it too! Hawt. Keep reading »
“The second you take away fight sequences … let me tell you something, your days lighten up a lot. Also, the girl playing my twin sister is always on time, always hits her marks, always knows her lines, always agrees with everything I say—they’re some of the easiest scenes I’ve ever filmed. I can’t believe how far visual effects have come—it’s been a while since I’ve been this involved. It’s much faster but it’s still a learning process with face replacement technology. Yet I hug my myself, I lay my head on her shoulder, there’s so much you can do. I thought it would be old school Patty Duke, like [sings] “We’re cousins!” It’s not like that anymore.”
