What’s That On Sarah Jessica Parker’s Head?

In fairness to SJP, though, she wore crap on her head long before we ever heard the words “Lady Gaga.” [5/27/10, London] Keep reading »

How Not To Date Like Carrie Bradshaw

Carrie Bradshaw is not only a Manhattan and fashion icon, but as a dating columnist, she’s considered a dating icon as well. Why? She’s selfish, immature, manipulative, impulsive, and, let’s face it, kind of psycho. She gives women, even kooky women, a bad name. Ladies, feel free to emulate Carrie’s style and visit her favorite NYC haunts, but when it comes to dating, it’s best to do anything but what she does. Carrie makes several common mistakes throughout the “Sex and the City” series and by watching her missteps, women can learn a lot about what to do and, more importantly, what not to do, at all stages of a relationship. What Happened To “Sex And The City”?

Carrie Bradshaw and the gang have come a loooong way since the first season of “Sex and the City” premiered on HBO in 1998. Carrie Bradshaw Wears Stilettos In The Sand

Check out the poster for “Sex and the City 2,” which hits theaters May 27. Carrie Bradshaw is truly a marvel. Not only is she able to walk across sand in heels without sinking (or rolling an ankle), but she doesn’t seem to sweat in the Abu Dhabi heat either! Keep reading »

Ready For Round 2 Of “SATC” Fashion?

Have you seen the “Carried On” posters hanging around your local movie theaters? The impending May release date means the “Sex and the City” ladies are going to be all over the place promoting their sequel. Cue the fashion choices, accessories to swoon over, and shoes that are sure to be unaffordable. And though May still feels far away, Carrie, Charlotte, and Samantha (er, Sarah Jessica Parker, Kristin Davis, and Cynthia Nixon) have already begun the press rounds. Before everyone gets too catty, Kim Cattrall is MIA because she’s currently starring in a play called “Private Lives.” Now, on to the fashion: Kristin chose a floral Oscar de la Renta dress, while Cynthia wore a modest dress below the knee, but it was Sarah Jessica’s yellow Lanvin number that won in our eyes. Carrie always was the most fashionable of the crew. What do you think?

We’re mere months away from the release of “Sex and the City 2,” which comes out on May 27. The rumors are already flying about the fashion, the infidelities, and the best friends you never had! I’m a die-hard fan of “SATC,” but will Carrie (Sarah Jessica Parker), Samantha (Kim Cattrall), Miranda (Cynthia Nixon), and (Kristin Davis) ultimately disappoint us? They’re going to leave us here eventually, fingering the stems of our Cosmopolitans, but will the sequel briefly satisfy that itch? We’ve compiled five reasons to see and not to see the movie. Oh, and minor spoiler alert ahead! Keep reading »
