Over the past few weeks, there have been numerous celebrity girl-on-girl kisses that were very, very public and got a lot of attention. Miley Cyrus got up close and personal with three different women during three different performances in June alone. And during the MTV Movie Awards, Sandra Bullock and Scarlett Johansson awkwardly locked lips.

Straight female celebs kissing other straight female celebs is nothing new. Ever since that Britney Spears and Madonna smooch few years ago (oh yeah, Christina Aguilera was there too), faux onstage lesbianism has increased tremendously. Really, what was up with that Scarlett Johansson and Sandra Bullock kiss?

Sandra Bullock, you were such a class act until this moment. You showed up at the Razzie’s to accept your “Worst Actress” awards. You took the high road when ex Jesse James cheated on your with Miss Nazi Face Tattoos. You even adopted a friggin’ baby and hid him from the paparazzi for months! Then you won career-long accolades at the MTV Movie Awards with effusive praise from Bradley Cooper and Betty White and even a movie montage. I actually had tears in my eyes!

Then you and Scarlett locked lips. Was that really necessary? Girl-on-girl kisses are so cliché. Let’s leave the publicity stunt faux lesbianism to people who need a career boost — not people who already have an incredible career. Keep reading »

Jesse James Says Child Abuse Led Him To Cheat On Sandra Bullock

Jesse James was on “Nightline” last night and finally offered up a few answers for why he cheated on wife Sandra Bullock, whether he’s a big ol’ racist, and if he went to rehab for sex addiction. For starters, James says he was abused as a child and that much of his persona is a smoke screen to hide the fact that he’s a scared abused kid, whose dad broke his arm when he was 7 years old. Child abuse, he says, also contributed to his infidelity, telling ABC:
“I grew up with a huge amount of shame and fear and abandonment on my shoulders from a very young age and I think, you know, the way my mind rationalized [cheating], ‘Well, you know, I might as well do whatever I can to like run her off cause she is going to find out what I am anyway and leave me anyway … The struggle within myself for the things that I did … to damage marriage and my life and everything else, it’s all me. I’m doing it because, you know, I’ve basically never felt good enough for anyone.”

Jesse James Says He “Wanted To Get Caught” In His Revelatory “Nightline” Interview

Jesse James‘ highly anticipated “Nightline” interview airs tomorrow night on ABC, but this morning on “Good Morning America” they showed this new teaser clip, in which James says he understands what motivated his multiple affairs. Sandra Bullock‘s soon-to-be-ex-husband says he was trying to “self-sabotage” his picture-perfect life, though he doesn’t give any indication what sob story brought that on. He also says that while he was cheating on the Oscar winner with such awesome folks as Michelle McGee and Skittles Valentine, he knew it was wrong. “During the midst of all it, when I was doing it, one, I knew it was horrible, it made me feel horrible and two I knew I would get caught eventually and I think I wanted to get caught.” Wanted to get caught, huh?
