Radar has been researching her extensively, and has put up multiple posts in the past 20 hours about her. After the jump, the highlights. But to whet your appetite: she’s an Amish stripper. Amid Cheating Rumors, Sandra Bullock Moves Out

Sadly, it seems there may be some truth in the rumor we reported yesterday that Sandra Bullock’s husband, Jesse James, has been cheating on her. Multiple sources are now reporting that the newly minted Oscar winner moved out of the family home she shared with James on Monday just before reports of his infidelity surfaced. The “Blind Side” star also announced she would not be attending the London premiere of the movie, “due to unforeseen personal reasons.” Keep reading »

Jesse Cheats On Sandra?

We take In Touch‘s gossip with a grain of salt, but considering our track record on this particular Oscar theory — that winning Best Actress signals impending doom for her romantic relationship — we would be sadly unsurprised if it turns out to be true. [Hollywood Life] Keep reading »

This Dude Is In Love With Sandra Bullock

Sandra Bullock’s Oscar win is still resonating in Hollywood, and now it’s resonating online thanks to one gentleman who likes Sandra a good deal more than most — so much so that he has a T-shirt that reads “I <3 Sandra Bullock.” As she wins the Best Actress Academy Award, screaming, running and other celebratory rites take over this seems-to-be-around-30 fellow. 10 Reasons We Love Sandra Bullock

I will admit it. I am one of the 10 people in America who has not traditionally been a Sandra Bullock fan. Why? Because she got herself pigeonholed as the romantic comedy queen—playing the quirky, irreverent, clutzy girl over and over again, and making me want to gag in the process. But last night, Sandra actually won me over. I love that she recognized how unlikely it is that the star of “Miss Congeniality 2: Armed and Fabulous” would five years later be Best Actress, without sounding insincere or too self-deprecating. After the jump, 10 reasons why I’m a Sandra convert. Keep reading »

Sandra Bullock Wins Oscar AND Razzie In The Same Weekend

Many of you probably saw Sandra Bullock win Oscar gold last night for her best-actress performance in “The Blind Side” (watch her acceptance speech above), but what you may not know is that the night before she also stopped by the Razzies to collect her prize for a worst-actress performance in the romantic comedy “All About Steve.” That makes Bullock the first person ever to win both a Razzie and and Oscar in the same weekend. She’s also the first acting winner to show up at the Razzies since Halle Berry won worst-actress for “Catwoman” five years ago. Having promised all awards season to show up in person to pick up the Razzie if she won, Bullock said: “I think this is an extraordinary award. And I didn’t realize that, in Hollywood, all you had to do was say you’d show up, and then you’d get the award. If I’d known that, I would have said I was appearing at the Oscars a long time ago.” The worst-actor Razzie went to Kevin, Joe and Nick Jonas for “Jonas Brothers: The 3D Concert Experience.” I didn’t see it, but I can’t help but think that win was well-deserved. But was Sandy B.’s Oscar? Discuss. [via Huffington Post] Keep reading »

A Dress To Match Oscar Gold?

Oscar Theory #1: And The Oscar (Always) Goes To … America’s Sweetheart

Only a few weeks left until the Oscars, people. The epic awards show will be going down on March 7, with Steve Martin and Alec Baldwin hosting. Since pretty much the same people won both the Screen Actors Guild and Golden Globes acting awards, pundits are predicting that the Oscars will be like “Groundhog Day.” But that’s no fun—we want upsets and surprises!

Sadly, over the years, the Academy has proved itself to be fairly predictable. Play a prostitute, win Best Actress. The older you are, the more likely you are to win Best Actor. In honor of the upcoming awards, we thought we’d take a look at some Oscar theories—both at how they’ve played out in the past and how they’ll affect this year’s race. The first theory we’ll dissect: that the Best Actress Oscar always goes to America’s Sweetheart the first time she does a role with an iota of heft. Keep reading »

Quotable: Sandra Bullock’s V-Day Pubic Hair Disaster

“I decided for Valentine’s Day I would do a special hair thing. I wanted to try to create a pink heart shape with my lower hair. It was painful. You had to bleach it first. There’s something about bleach that feels like acid. Then I had to shave it. I was in so much pain, but I kept going and put the pink dye on and it went the wrong color.”

Sandra Bullock And Others Who Don’t Think They Have An Oscar Chance

After winning top honors at the Screen Actors Guild Awards and Golden Globes, Sandra Bullock received her first Oscar nomination this year for “The Blind Side.” But she’s already convinced she’s not bringing the little man home. “I’m so not winning an Oscar,” said the feisty brunette. “Nine times out of ten I always pick who’s going to win. And I already know who’s going to win.” Hmmm … sounds like she’s using a little reverse psychology, doesn’t it? [People]

Still, I’m sorta digging Bullock’s self-deprecation. Over the years, a few of her fellow movie-makers have made similar pronouncements. Let’s see how it turned out for them. Keep reading »
