“The Blind Side” actress Sandra Bullock rocked blunt bangs at the 2011 Golden Globe Awards ceremony in Los Angeles.
The mane man behind her new look is celebrity hairstylist David Babaii. He revealed that he was inspired by the ’60s in creating Bullock’s bangs and textured ends.
Babaii predicts this award season will be full of natural textures and waves, adding that gorgeous, shiny, red-carpet-worthy locks can be created with simply one product and, of course, the proper styling tools. Read more… Keep reading »
It wasn’t enough that Michelle “Bombshell” McGee had an affair with Sandra Bullock‘s husband, Jesse James — she’s got to rub it in the Oscar winner’s face every chance she gets. This time, while McGee was at the doctor’s office preparing to get Lasik eye surgery, she came across this photo of Sandra in a gossip magazine. Photo op! Ugh. [The Superficial] Keep reading »
“I think there will be a collective sigh amongst women across the United States when I say he’s not my lovah. He’s just an amazing friend for 10 years … but I don’t get his loving after dark.”
– Sandra Bullock denied the rumors that she and newly single Ryan Reynolds are doing the horizontal polka when asked by Al Roker. I wish he had asked her if she’s seeing the same hairstylist as Michelle “Bombshell” McGee. [People] Keep reading »
Beam him up, Sandra. George, we have a problem. I am very excited to report that Sandra Bullock and George Clooney, two of our faves, will be teaming up for a new flick that takes place in outer space. The movie “Gravity” will be directed by the awesome Alfonso Cuaron (of “Children of Men” and “Y Tu Mamá También” fame), who also wrote the script, and tells the story of two astronauts who are the sole survivors of a space station explosion. Originally, Robert Downey Jr. was set to play the male lead, and Cuaron wanted Angelina Jolie or Natalie Portman for the female lead, but we’re way more happy with the Sandra/George pairing. Let’s hope they’ll be the new Brangelina and fall in love on set. (Sorry, Elisabetta Canalis.) Or at least show us in the movie how astronauts have sex in space. We’ve always wondered about that. “I think everything works out the way the universe wants it to work out. We don’t have any boys in our family. Boy, is everyone really happy about that. So he’s like the crown prince … He’s my little Cajun cookie.”
—Sandra Bullock talking about her adopted son, Louis, on today’s “Today.” I wonder how long it’ll take Mrs. Fields to come up with a cookie based on this concept? [People] Keep reading »
Sandra Bullock was in Los Angeles this week for the 2010 Teen Choice Awards. And, apparently, she spent some time with Jesse James, who she divorced on June 10th, months after his penchant for tattooed side dishes came to light. The two were photographed heading into West Coast Choppers on Monday. [Radar]
And we’re wondering—what could this mean? Keep reading »
Forbes released their annual list of “Hollywood’s Highest-Paid Actresses” and despite it being a totally crazy year for her personally, Sandra Bullock earned bucket loads, topping the list with an estimated $56 million in the bank. Tied for second place were Reese Witherspoon and Cameron Diaz with an estimated $32 million each. Jennifer Aniston ranked third with $27 million, which seems weird since it seems like she was in every (crappy) movie that came out. Sarah Jessica Parker pulled in $25 million thanks to the cornucopia of money that is “Sex and the City.” Keep reading »
“I’m not just a cuckolded wife … I think about Sandra Bullock — who I don’t know at all — what an incredible year she’s had. She won the Academy Award for an incredible performance, and more than that, she took that story and integrated that into her own life in this healthy happy way. And yet, the stories you hear are not about all those great successes, but about the failure of her marriage … that’s not who she is…I assume she wants to reclaim who she is in the same way I want to reclaim who I am.”
– Elizabeth Edwards on wanting to get back her life and identity post-split from John Edwards on “Today.” Ugh. Heartbreaking. We think Elizabeth is handling this whole situation with such class. [Celebitchy]
