Sandra Bullock has shot down tabloid reports that she’s pregnant with Ryan Reynolds’ baby.
The star adopted little Louis at the beginning of 2010, just before her marriage to reality TV star Jesse James fell apart — and now OK! magazine has run a cover story suggesting she’s about to become a mom again as her romance with newly-single Reynolds blossoms.
But the actress has reached out to the producers of TV news show “Entertainment Tonight,” asking them to set the record straight. Read more… Keep reading »
“The following month, it snowballed. My hotel room flooded, my dog got sick, I came down with a slight case of divorce, and I broke my pinky finger. I was begging to get out of Atlanta at that point. No offense to Atlanta—it’s a fantastic place—but it really wants my blood.”
—Ryan Reynolds talks to Jay Leno about his terrible luck filming “The Change Up” in Atlanta, Georgia. A slight case of divorce? That reminds me of a substitute teacher I had in the fourth grade who referred to the Civil War as “The Unpleasantness Between The States.” Yes, that really happened. [Huffington Post] Keep reading »
Over the weekend, “Horrible Bosses” grossed $28 million at the box office. But according to an interview Brett Ratner did with The Hollywood Reporter, in the six years the movie was in development, it could have had a very, very different cast. Ratner explained that many actors had once been attached to take Charlie Day, Jason Bateman, and Jason Sudeikis’ roles—including Ashton Kutcher, Ryan Reynolds, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Johnny Knoxville, and then Ashton Kutcher again. “Up until I was like, 18, I looked like a Vietnamese girl. I remember, it took me a while to learn that you could actually talk to girls. I remember during elementary school, I used to accidentally fall on them during volleyball practice. And just a few years later, that’s illegal. That’s straight up inappropriate.”
—Ryan Reynolds appeared on “Conan” last week to hype “The Green Lantern” and shared that as a teenager, he was seriously awkward and in no way attractive to the ladyfolk. Sorry, but we’re not buying it, Ryan. We saw you on MTV’s “Fifteen” and know you were still adorable back in the day. [Huffington Post]
Ahhh, but this isn’t the first time Ryan has disparaged his teenage self. Keep reading »
This week’s Entertainment Weekly cover story is titled “Why I’m Obsessed With Ryan Reynolds, By Ryan Reynolds.” So fittingly, Ryan posed for the cover sporting a fake tattoo on his bicep of his own face. The story inside is just as entertaining. “[Ryan] spent a great deal of time with his older brothers and, in turn, his brothers were very close to him. Usually within striking distance,” he writes. Later, in a paragraph about living green, Ryan says, “Reynolds is also careful not to get too self-righteous, and is not one of those finger-wagging celebrities telling you how to live your life. He prefers to put the word out quietly, through the exciting mediums of interpretive dance and Japanese hand fans.” Cute. [EW] Keep reading »
“[Baking cupcakes] was just a way to sabotage Ryan. He was working out as much as he was, and I’m the girl. I’m supposed to look better.”
—Blake Lively jokes at a “Green Lantern” press conference about why she baked so many cupcakes while making the movie. Or at least, she’s sorta joking here. Something tells me that might actually have been the motivation. [People]
But Ryan Reynolds didn’t mind. Here his response after the jump Keep reading »
“I think there will be a collective sigh amongst women across the United States when I say he’s not my lovah. He’s just an amazing friend for 10 years … but I don’t get his loving after dark.”
– Sandra Bullock denied the rumors that she and newly single Ryan Reynolds are doing the horizontal polka when asked by Al Roker. I wish he had asked her if she’s seeing the same hairstylist as Michelle “Bombshell” McGee. [People] Keep reading »
Over the weekend, a totally annoying reporter asked Vanessa Hudgens at her 22nd birthday party how she was doing after her breakup from Zac Efron. “We’re good,” she said, giving two thumbs-up. The night before, Scarlett Johansson and Ryan Reynolds were spotted having a “friendly meal” in New York City. “They were smiling and laughing the whole time,” a source close to the pair said. “They just wanted to sit down together. This was just two people who were married being civil and friendly.” Keep reading »
