He invited me to a magic show through someone else, and I couldn’t go because I had to go to this charity thing for Amy, and it was like, ‘bros before hos,’ or ‘hos before bros,’ however that phrase goes. So, it’s Day 5 of my life without he who I am not supposed to name but for SEO purposes will name just twice, once in the headline and once here RYAN GOSLING. Last night, I took my first bath without him. By that I mean, I took my first bath, basking in candlelight, drinking wine, without catching up on gossip about him on my iPad. Here Are Your 2012 Golden Globe Nominees!

Let the award season begin! This morning, the nominees for the 2012 Golden Globe Awards were announced in Hollywood. I can’t contain my excitement: Ryan Gosling got nominated for two — yes, two — awards, for “Crazy Stupid Love” and “The Ides of March”! (Bradley Cooper was nominated for zero.) He is up against Joseph Gordon-Levitt (“50/50″) in the Best Actor Drama category, so if Julie and I are snippy with each other till the end of the month, you know why. I was also thrilled to see Tilda Swinton (“We Need To Talk About Kevin”) and Charlize Theron (“Young Adult”) get nominated in the Best Actress Drama category; Kristen Wiig got a nod for “Bridesmaids” while Melissa McCarthy was curiously overlooked; and “American Horror Story” and “Game of Thrones” got their due. I was bummed to see Kirsten Dunst (“Melancholia”), Ezra Miller (“We Need To Talk About Kevin”), Patton Oswalt (“Young Adult”), and Elizabeth Olsen (“Martha Marcy May Marlene”) overlooked, but what can ya do?
