“I actually did hear from [Ryan Gosling] one time. He invited me to a magic show through someone else, and I couldn’t go because I had to go to this charity thing for Amy, and it was like, ‘bros before hos,’ or ‘hos before bros,’ however that phrase goes. I just rhymed a lot. So, yeah. I don’t know what’s in store for me and him. I think he has a girlfriend, but maybe I’ll murder her someday and we’ll be together forever.”
– “Parks and Recreation” star Aubrey Plaza on her lust for Ryan Gosling. It seems Plaza ran into Gosling in a Jamba Juice earlier this year, but didn’t recognize him, and now really, really regrets it. Also, notice that someone other than Amelia is writing this RG post! So, it’s Day 5 of my life without he who I am not supposed to name but for SEO purposes will name just twice, once in the headline and once here RYAN GOSLING. Last night, I took my first bath without him. By that I mean, I took my first bath, basking in candlelight, drinking wine, without catching up on gossip about him on my iPad. It was hard, but I did it. Continue with me on this journey via the video above. (Please note: this video is SFW.)
At first I felt betrayed. And then I felt smug. This would be a piece of cake going cold turkey! No problem! I don’t need Ryan Gosling. I can go without. But then I started to realize it might not be so simple. Experience all of these emotions — and more! — in my first video blog following my coworkers “Goservention.”
Surely you have noticed that our fearless leader Amelia has a little bit of a thing for Ryan Gosling. We feel that it might have gotten out of control in recent weeks (months/years) and it might finally be time to act. As your friends and colleagues, we feel it’s time that you take steps to fight back against the crippling addiction that has overtaken your life. We are speaking of your obsession with Ryan Gosling and all Ryan Gosling-related news, photos and information. If you don’t get help soon, we fear it may be too late. We understand that “Drive” was a very good movie. Also, that he broke up a fight on the street that one time. And yes, he has a cute dog.
But your Ryan Gosling addiction has gotten out of control. And it has affected our lives negatively in the following ways:

The Frisky staff has put me on an RG Diet as part of New Year, New You Month, in which I am not allowed to gratuitously post about him or say his name too often or stalk him online constantly. However, I am not on an Emma Stone Diet, so I think I can safely post this photo comparison without risking punishment.
“Well, I mean sometimes when I watch a Ryan Gosling movie … but it’s so sad to say because the line to make out with Ryan Gosling is so long. I’m probably at the back of it. But he’s always on that list. Almost anyone on ‘Game of Thrones’ that is an adult. Any adult or human in “Game of Thrones” would be fair game. Oh, and Melanie Laurent, I think she’s gorgeous. So yeah, Ryan Gosling, the adult cast of ‘Game of Thrones,’ and Melanie Laurent.”
–”Portlandia” writer and star Carrie Brownstein on who she’d like to make out with. Amelia, you have some competition. [I started that line and she is behind me, dammit. -- Editor] [XOJane]
