Finally, we get a peek at Solange‘s ads for makeup brand Rimmel London. Last year, we reported that Rimmel signed both Zooey Deschanel and Solange to be spokeswomen of the brand. We were pleased to see Zooey’s unconventional beauty gracing magazine pages (well, except for this Photoshop fail), but I kept wondering when Solange would begin representing the makeup brand. The wait appears to be over, if these beauty images, which recently surfaced without explanation, are any indication. A few months ago, we told you that the makeup brand Rimmel London had signed Zooey Deschanel as their new spokesmodel. So when we saw this ad for Rimmel’s Lasting Finish Lipstick, we were like, “Weird, who is this chick? Where’s Zooey?” Oh, but this is Zooey, after some serious Photoshopping. Rimmel London Signs Solange & Zooey Deschanel

We’re slightly obsessed with both Solange and Zooey Deschanel, so you know we let out a squeal when we learned that affordable cosmetics line Rimmel London has signed them to be spokeswomen. Rimmel, which has also added Puerto Rican model Alejandra Ramos Munoz to the roster, is hoping their move to include more diverse women in their ads will increase the brand’s appeal in Asia and South America. “At a time of extraordinary worldwide growth for the brand, these three strong, successful and uniquely beautiful women will help ensure that Rimmel London’s image continues to be modern and globally relevant,” said Renato Semerari, President of Coty Beauty, which owns Rimmel.
