These photos of Rihanna and Best Supermodel of All Time Kate Moss getting a bit Sapphic are pretty hot. Photographed for the latest issue of V magazine, the pair are rather good at affecting a lesbian lover kind of vibe. We’re feeling it. Check out the additional photos after the jump. Most of us work all day and then go out to blow off steam. Rihanna? She lives life the other way around. Paps snapped her leaving the clurb to head to the studio around midnight Sunday night, to lay down some tracks. Because in Rihanna’s world, up is down and down is up. Also, doesn’t she look great in grey with bold red lips? [Photo: Fame/Flynet]
“I have not been on a date in forever. Like two years. Haven’t gone to the movies, to dinner. Zero. I would love to go on a date. You don’t think that? I’m a woman. A young woman, vibrant, and I love to have fun. And I have too many vaginas around me at this point. Seriously, all I want is a guy to take me out and make me laugh for a good hour and take my ass back home. He doesn’t even have to come up. All I want is a conversation for an hour. No one asks. Trust me on that. I’m waiting for the man who’s ballsy enough to deal with me. I’m going to wait, though. You always find the wrong shit when you go looking.”
– Rihanna complains to Vogue about the woes of dating as a super-famous lady, who I suspect has a harder time dating than A-list dudes do. But Jennifer Aniston made it work somehow. There’s hope for you yet, RiRi. (Also, was her direction for this photo shoot to look like she’s giving birth on stop of a haystack?) [Vogue]
One of the perks of being a celebrity is that no matter what you want to do and where you want to go, there is someone willing to drive you in the privacy of an air-conditioned car, without any pesky commoners invading your personal, famous bubble. That is why it is kind of awesome when a celebrity is spotted riding public transportation. How normal! For instance, Jay-Z hopped the R train from his digs in Manhattan’s posh Tribeca ‘hood to Brooklyn this weekend for his last concert at the new Barclays Center. (Certain beyotches named Amelia were in the audience. Madly jealous. Sore subject.) Of course Jay was accompanied by plainclothes cops and his own security team. It’s not like he rides the subway like us normal folks. [MissInfo.tv]
In addition to being better for the environment, public transportation is often more efficient and quicker than fighting traffic. Plus, it’s just kind cool to see celebs “out in the wild,” clutching filthy subway poles and giving the stink eye to rude multi-seat hoggers with the rest of us. Here are a bunch more celebs spotted on public transpo!
Chris Brown isn’t exactly handling his breakup from Karrueche Tran in typical Hollywood fashion: Instead, he released a sort of confessional video last night, in which he mused about his love for, apparently, both Tran and Rihanna. “Is there such thing as loving two people?” Brown asks, as pictures of both women flash onscreen. “I don’t know if that’s possible. For me, I just feel like that, you know?” continues Brown—who was “a little drunk” at the time. Read more…
Lately, Rihanna has been dressing in a way I like to call “post-style,” in that she has seemingly “done” every possible look on the books without going the full Gaga, and so the only other direction to go is in having so sense of style at all. Which is why I think she’s been wearing so many ball caps and oversized sweatshirts and generally dressing like a shlubby dude. But she still brings it from time to time, only now it’s a little more surprising when I like something she’s wearing. Like this outfit, which has a certain Hollywood Boulevard ’80s hooker vibe to it … which I enjoy, incase that wasn’t clear. What do you think though?
