The funniest thing about Angelina Jolie’s thigh’s big display at the Academy Awards last night is that even she was acting like it was the first time the world was seeing it. I swear, it even had its own sound effect. Every time she thrust it out, I heard “Kah-BLAM!” But seriously, folks, Angelina is always showing one of her thighs. Here is a brief history of her favorite appendage on the red carpet — with sound effects.

Last night’s Academy Awards broadcast was less than thrilling, but that’s okay. We’ll always find a way to entertain ourselves by ogling the gorgeous dresses and the starlets wearing them. While not everyone won big during the awards ceremony, many stars shone brightly on the red carpet and during the much-more-fun and alcohol-fueled after-parties. And so did their boobs. Some lady celebs — we’re looking at you Irina Shayk, Kristin Wiig, Selena Gomez and Sofia Vergara, amongst others — really know how to let the girls out in style. After the jump, check out our gallery of the best boobs at the Oscars — and let us know who you liked best.
Aside from white, there wasn’t a big color trend on last night’s Oscars red carpet — but sparkle was definitely in. There was an abundance of sequins, with mixed results — Rose Byrne looked smashing, while Anna Faris stumbled. Click through to see what we mean…
By far, some of my favorite dresses at last night’s Oscars — Rooney Mara, Milla Jovovich, and Gwyneth Paltrow — were white. But they were anything but bridal. Click through to see the women who wore this trends.
So, real talk. Last night, Julie and I compared notes on the best and worst dressed at the Academy Awards. And we … well, we disagreed on quite a few. But one thing we did agree on was that, by and large, everyone look pretty damn good. So this time around, we’re not doing a worst dressed list. Coming up, we’ve got the women who rocked white and the ladies who went crazy for sequins, two big trends on the red carpet. The 28 ladies in this gallery wore an array of colors, cuts, and embellishments — who was your favorite?
How do the stars — well, some of them — spend the night before the Oscars? Celebrating the best of independent cinema, that’s how. The Indie Spirit Awards’ purple carpet is decidedly more casual than the Academy Awards, but stars like Michelle Williams, Rashida Jones, and Elizabeth Olsen still don’t slack off in the style department. Unfortunately, some others do. Check out the good, the bad, and the meh sartorial choices at last night’s fête.
There’s nothing stars love doing more than celebrating themselves and one another. And that’s why right now is prime celeb happiness time. It’s awards season, culminating this Sunday night with the Oscars, and famous folk have been out in full force at various celebratory parties and events hosted by Eva Longoria, Vanity Fair and the like. Still, just because there’s a reason for the season doesn’t mean that everyone’s got their sartorial ducks in a row. (We’re looking at you, Jessica Chastain). Click through to see who hit it, and who’s just a mess.
Bike shorts. Neon. A kooky ballerina. Headdresses. Fringe. To the stars attending Sunday’s Academy Awards, let these 20 worst Oscar looks ever guide you towards what NOT to do when dressing for your big red carpet moment.
The Academy Awards are on Sunday and in anticipation, I fell into a deep — and at times dark — Oscar dress k-hole. We’ll get to the bad dresses of the past later, but first! The 30 most beautiful and memorable Oscar dresses ever.
The Marni for H&M launch party was attended by a who’s who of Hollywood It Girls — way more than 10, in fact. Some wore fancy-pants, high-end Marni (Dianna Agron, Lily Collins, and Rashida Jones, for example), while others wore the lower-priced line that the event was celebrating. The latter is who I focused on in this slideshow, so we could see what the items (below) actually look like on…
