This year’s mega winner is Greg Chait, the man behind the collection The Elder Statesman. The Good, The Bad & The Totally Meh: The Country Music Awards
The Country Music Awards were held last night, and shocker! Taylor Swift didn’t win anything. For the first time in a gazillion years, audiences missed out on Swift’s patented “OMG I CAN’T BELIEVE I WON!” surprise face. Big winners included married country superstars Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert, who must not have any mantle space left after their five combined wins last night.

I think the LACMA Art + Film Gala is the West Coast’s version of the CFDA Awards — everybody looks totally flawless, and they’re all wearing fashions that are sort of high concept and adventurous. It probably also helps that this year’s LACMA Gala was sponsored by Gucci, and practically everyone wore Gucci to the event. That must have been a total load off the stylists’ minds. The Good, The Bad & The WTF At The 2012 MTV VMAs
Last night was kind of stressful. Between Fashion’s Night Out, the DNC Obama speech and the MTV Video Music Awards there were not enough hours in the night to get it all done. So much TV to watch! So much shopping to do! Bad timing aside, the VMAs did deliver their usual round of well choreographed dance/lip syncing performances (um, I never thought I’d actually like a Taylor Swift song) and host/audience hijinks (Kevin Hart, such a tiny weirdo!). That said, what we really care about is the fashions. And there were so many! Let’s see what the stars wore, shall we?
