“Pitch Perfect” star Rebel Wilson is generally fairly amazing. And her new clothing line, named Fat Mandi after her character on the Australian TV show “The Wedge,” is no exception. So far, it consists of two T-shirts featuring donut and cupcake illustrations on the boob area, priced at just $20 each! But here’s where I’m not stoked — the company’s website has an illustration of a donut with the words “not for skinny bitches” on it. Nevermind that the site also shows regular ass thin models wearing the tees (along with Rebel herself, of course). It seems like an unnecessarily crass and offensive way to market yourself. After all, there’s no way any site would get away with saying “not for fat bitches,” so the opposite should be true, too. [Fat Mandi]

Click through to see how 10 celeb ladies are styling their loafers…
Rebel Wilson appeared on “The Ellen Show” on Wednesday, to promote her new music/glee clug movie extravaganza, “Pitch Perfect.” To commemorate the occasion, Rebel and Ellen partook in a little Salt ‘N Pepa. Watch their hilariously on-point version of “Shoop.”
Actress, writer, and stand-up comedienne Rebel Wilson moved to the States from Australia just a few years ago, but her turn as Kristin Wiig’s bizarre roommate in “Bridesmaids” left everybody wanting more. With the smash hit film as her inaugural American movie, Rebel has quickly accelerated to the top of everybody’s Stars To Watch list ― and for good reason. She’s smart (she even has a law degree!), hilarious, and brimming with the kind of cheerful self-awareness that makes her a true stand-out. It’s worth getting to know Rebel a little better, because she’s not going anywhere. Keep reading »
I have been pretty obsessed with Rebel Wilson ever since her randomly hilarious turn as Kristen Wiig’s roommate in “Bridesmaids.” She was completely underused in “Bachelorette,” but I hear she steals every scene she’s in, in the upcoming movie “Pitch Perfect.” But she’s still made time for a side career, having recently debuted her rap alter ego Rebelicious aka Lil’ Reb aka Licka-licka-licka-licka-licka-licka-rib-licious. Learn more about her, after the jump!

I was recently contacted through my website by a pregnant black woman who inquired about hiring me to perform standup at her baby shower. She and her husband were diehard comedy fans, and thought it would be fun to have a comic perform for their guests.
“How did you find me?” I asked. “I Googled ‘Fat Black Female Comics’ and you were one of the women that popped up!” she answered. “Everyone knows that fat black women are the funniest comics alive!”
After I hung up the phone, I sat there for a moment trying to figure out if I should be offended or not. While I understand that she was trying to be complimentary, I’m not sure if I am flattered by someone thinking that I am automatically funny just because I am plus-sized and black. Then I thought about the $1,500 she offered to pay me to stand in the middle of her living room and crack jokes for 30 minutes, and I instantly felt better. Throughout my career, I’ve been paid much less to do far worse. There was plenty of time for me to be offended later, but for now it was time to get paid!
Comedy is hard work, no matter what you look like. The perception that fat black women have an edge up, purely because of the size of their bodies, diminishes the amount of hard work, discipline and creativity that it takes for us to create this art form known as comedy. Furthermore, I think it’s crazy that someone would assume that all fat black women are funny.
On the other hand, I get it. Keep reading »
One of the breakout stars of “Bridesmaids” — besides Melissa McCarthy — was Rebel Wilson, who played the female half of Kristen Wiig’s weird brother-sister roommate duo. Remember? She got the Mexican drinking worm tattoo from some guy in the back of van? Well, Wilson next appears as an exceedingly normal bride in “Bachelorette,” a dark comedy that also stars Kirsten Dunst, Isla Fisher, and Lizzy Caplan as the bitter and drugged out friends who are planning her bachelorette party. Rebel appeared on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” last night to promote the film, and the Australian talked up her teenage appreciation for American “gangsta rap” group Kriss Kross. She and her sister — who’s amazingly named LIBERTY — performed their songs at talent shows. To prove it, Rebel rapped some of their lyrics — and was decidedly not wiggity-wiggity-wack.
Kirsten Dunst, Lizzy Caplan and Rebel Wilson star in the upcoming dark (very dark!) comedy “Bachelorette,” and this week the three made the rounds at the Sundance Film Festival promoting the film. We are so excited to see this movie — especially since catching Rebel Wilson’s hilarious turn as one half of a creepy brother/sister roommate duo in “Bridesmaids.” In “Bachelorette,” Wilson plays a woman getting married whose three bridesmaids — played by Dunst, Caplan and Isla Fisher — plot against her. Thankfully, it seems that Wilson and her co-stars get along much better off screen. We love the casual looks they’re sporting at Sundance, and thought we’d try stealing their looks. Check out what we found after the jump.
