I’m not sure if one would accuse any of “The Real Housewives of Orange County” (or any other city) of being amazing parents, but Alexis Bellino might have taken the cake. At a 4th of July party, Alexis and her husband, Jim, left a stroller containing their two toddlers unattended while they were “doing something” and it rolled into the pool. Toddlers and all. Security guards say that the lifeguard pulled out the stroller, which still contained one child and Alexis’ husband dove in to save the other kid. Both tots were magically and thankfully fine. Afterward, Jim claimed, “There was no lifeguard needed or involved,” as if that changes anything at all. [TMZ]

Seriously, you guys have to stop laughing. Those kids are stuck with those parents forever! And judging by this kind of parenting, forever might be relative. We rounded up a few of the worst celebrity parents — maybe their kids can start a support group? Keep reading »

Is Danielle Staub Really Having A Lesbian Affair With Lori Michaels?

Chances are, you didn’t bother to watch yesterday’s video of Danielle Staub performing the stalker-tastic song “Real Close” with Lori Michaels on “Watch What Happens Live.” I know I didn’t the first time around. But the last 20 seconds of the clip is actually where things get interesting—”Real Housewife” Danielle implies that she and Lori are doing the deed. Sure, during the performance, she threw her arm around Lori and sang directly into her eyes. But when the two sat down for an interview with Andy Cohen, Danielle took things to another level. Danielle motioned to Lori sit down in the chair and than draped herself across Lori’s lap. When Andy asks, “Now are you two together?” Lori shook her head “no.” But then Danielle cut her off, petting Lori’s hair and saying, “We’re not saying anything besides that we’re together doing the song, real close.”

Danielle Staub Sings Her New Song “Real Close’

The moment you’ve all been waiting for! Okay, not really, Andy Cohen, but thanks. Danielle Staub performed her first single, “So Close,” on Cohen’s show after “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” last night, alongside “lesbian super star” Lori Michaels on the keys. The amazing thing about releasing a song after fellow housewives Kim Zolciak and LuAnn de Lesseps is that Danielle, in comparison, actually sounds, I dunno, kind of good. By good, I mean I don’t have the urge to stuff cotton into my ears and I appreciate that Danielle is going for a ballad instead of some heinous clubby techno number. Sue me. I don’t hate it. “It got a little too dark for me. I thought it was going to be silly drama like ‘How dare she leave my dinner party early?’ and stuff like that. I didn’t know it was going to be going in the direction that it did. Danielle [Staub] made a mockery of [the charity event for the child with cancer] and she thought it was about her. These are the kids I work day in and day out for. I have a foundation for children with cancer and these families are like my family, and for her to walk in there and blow up about me—you don’t do that. This is about a sick little girl, not her, so that was it. My husband’s thrilled. My sisters-in-law, they’re bummed, but they’re hoping I’ll come back for season three.”

White House Party Crasher Michaele Salahi Confirmed For “Real Housewives of D.C.”

Just as we suspected! Bravo officially confirmed today that Michaele Salahi, one of the White House party crashers, will star on “The Real Housewives of D.C.,” debuting August 5. Michaele, a blond socialite straight out of Central Casting, and her husband, Tareq Salahi, grabbed headlines internationally when they breached security at President Obama‘s first official state dinner. It turns out Bravo cameras were following the couple that night for the “Real Housewives” TV show. (The Salahis insist they were invited to the event). It was an embarrassment for the White House and Obama’s Social Secretary Desiree Rogers later stepped down. But no matter! Crazy people make for entertaining TV and that’s what matters, right? Alex McCord was by far my favorite NYC housewife this year because she finally stopped holding in her anger and let people know exactly what she thought of them. The main target on the receiving end of Alex’s wrath was a very deserving Jill Zarin. We had a little hint of Alex calling Jill out during the season, but even I could feel Alex’s frustration at Jill’s annoying and defensive arguing. On the reunion tonight at 9 p.m., though, it seems Alex has practiced exactly what she wants to say to the hawker of fabrics and gossip. Tonight brings the premiere of Bethenny Frankel‘s new show, “Bethenny Getting Married?” on Bravo. Bethenny has been my favorite of the “Real Housewives of New York City,” in part because I adore her wry sense of humor, but also because I so related to her struggle with dudes during the first two seasons of the show. Bethenny was the kind of girl who wasn’t sure she would find love—heck, the title of her new show has a question mark in it, stressing just how little Bethenny expected marriage for herself. But, interestingly, she revealed this week that when we see her walk down the aisle in the series, it isn’t for the first time. Apparently, Bethenny was married before and just never identified on the show as a divorcee. Keep reading »
