“I laughed at it … [We] still make love once, sometimes twice a day … we’re very happy.”
—Teresa Giudice in response to the rumors that her husband has a mistress and love child. Hmmm, I think Teresa is suffering from a case of thou doth protest too much. [I’m Not Obsessed] Keep reading »
“The Real Housewives of New Jersey” has found a new Garden State richie to replace Dina Manzo, who quit the show midway through this year because the drama got a little too psycho. They have picked none other than Melissa Gorga who is … drum roll … Teresa‘s sister-in law, the wife of her brother Guiseppe Gorga. But Teresa and Melissa are not sisters-in-law the way Dina and Jacqueline are. The word on the street is that Teresa is livid that Melissa has been tapped for the show and is supposedly threatening to quit. Keep reading »
I finally got to watch “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” reunion, part one. Holy crap! I still can’t believe there’s more to come. No wonder Teresa is allegedly demanding that producers double her salary. Being on that show is like going into a war zone.
There’s so much to discuss! Like, for starters, why were they talking in secret NJ code the whole time? It was a full hour of trying to decipher the many meanings of the word “bitch,” the tenor of each raised eyebrow and the shade of angry behind each guttural growl. Apparently, Bravo wants to make it so that you’re never able to do anything but watch “The Real Housewives.” In addition to the Orange County, New York, Atlanta, New Jersey, and DC incarnations of the show, they have a new entry in the franchise starting on October 14. The city of choice? Beverly Hills. The houses are enormous, the jewels are over-the-top blingy, and the kids are insanely pampered with $50K birthday parties.
The cast is pretty amazing—and includes Kelsey Grammer’s ex-wife, the sister of Kathy Hilton, and a Maloof. After the jump, the new ladies and a preview. [People] Keep reading »
Whoa. Whoa. Whoooa! “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” will be back in full effect this October. And as someone who has removed all personal drama from her life, I have to say I can’t wait for ATL battles. NeNe Leakes goes at it with Kim Zolciak (again) and her husband Greg, who seems to drop a cheating bomb on her. New housewife Cynthia Bailey appears to have the perfect life until her boyfriend/fiance comes clean about something. Kandi Burruss is trying to rebuild her life after the death of her fiance AJ, and she also gets in touch with her father only to learn he’s sick with cancer. Sheree Whitfield has decided to abandon her, ahem, clothing line, She by Sheree, for an acting career. Phaedra Parks, another newbie, is pregnant, but doesn’t know when her due date is. Huh? Oh, and her husband is a criminal like Martha Stewart, as Phaedra claims. And, of course, the other ladies feel the need to rub this fact in her face whenever possible. Oh yeah, and Kim is still trying to be singer. Keep reading »
It’s a sad day in mindless entertainment drama if the rumor that Bravo fired Danielle Staub from “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” is true. According to Life & Style, Danielle, who brought the crazy and the controversy to the Bravo airwaves like few others, was told she would not return to the hit reality show for season three.
