Trailer Park: “Public Enemies” And “Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs”

Movie Releases For The Weekend Of 7/3-7/5

It’s 4th of July weekend, which means you’re gonna be busy, sun-soaked and let’s face it, drunk. Since you’ll be useless on Sunday anyway, you might as well take it easy while reliving American history with “Public Enemies” or you can take the munchkins to “Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs” but keep in mind that 3-D isn’t the most hangover-friendly dimension.

I Wanna Dress Like: Public Enemies

Public Enemies Fashions

Johnny Depp as John Dillinger in “Public Enemies” says he likes good clothes and movies, among other things. And so do we. We’re not only excited to see this historical drama about the infamous bank robber, but we also want to dress in ‘30s style outfits. Gloves, longer hems, and the return of the natural waist were key to the fashions of that decade. We couldn’t raid the costume closet of Marion Cotillard, who plays Dillinger’s love interest Billie Frechette, so we came up with our own outfits inspired by “the movie.”

The Daily Hotness: Johnny Depp

Johnny Depp

Just when you thought you couldn’t want to bone Johnny Depp more, he finds a new way to reach out and touch you. While he may be filming a movie called Public Enemies, privately, Depp is a hero. When one of his teenage fans in the U.K., Sophie Wilkinson, was in a bad car accident that put her in a coma, her father desperately wrote her favorite actor, J.D., hoping he could help. The Pirates of the Caribbean star, moved by the story, recorded a special message for her in his “Jack Sparrow” voice. When they played the tape, the teen made her first move in five months of hospitalization, tapping her right leg, finally giving her parents hope that she’ll recover. Swoon! [IDLYITW]
