Nicole Scherzinger will officially be cleansed of her girl group roots. The former Pussycat Doll singer has signed on to star as history’s most famous prostitute, Mary Magdalene, in the rock opera “Jesus Christ Superstar,” which is set to open this summer at London’s O2 arena. Sounds like it will be a spiritual experience. Mary Magdalene was the original hooker with a heart of gold, but click through to see more stars who’ve taken on this archetypal role. [Gossip Cop]

She was lovin’ it a little too much. Manatee resident Christine Faith Baker, 47, was arrested after she allegedly offered sexual favors for two McDonald’s dollar-menu cheeseburgers, according to the Miami Herald.
An undercover officer invited Baker into his car on Friday and started talking about sex. Baker allegedly said that her fee was two McDoubles — the dollar-menu version of a double cheeseburger — costing a grand total of $2.75. Read more …
The following piece was originally published on The Fix.
Since I was 19, I’ve worked on and off as a prostitute in New York City. I learned a lot about men during my decade of escorting, from seeing the insides of their apartments and uncensored sexual requests, but it wasn’t until I quit drinking and using drugs three years ago that I began to notice that many of my clients shared a surprising characteristic: They were sober.
As soon as I was looking for the signs, it became obvious that I was seeing a disproportionate amount of recovering addicts. Eventually, I would start bringing up drinking just to test my own hypothesis. Over and over again, I would find out that the guys who were paying me to drool all over their junk had been sober for a decade or two.
And most of them were married, too, of course. Keep reading »
Cheryl Cohen Greene has devoted the last 40 years of her life to helping others overcome sexual discomfort and dysfunction through her work as a sex surrogate. She’s seen nearly a thousand clients in that time — some of whom she merely touches and shares affection with, others with whom she actually has intercourse – and believes that her work has the power to change lives. Her career also had an impact on her own sex life; she met her husband Bob in 1979 when he came to her as a client, struggling with performance anxiety. Keep reading »
Dominique Strauss-Kahn, the former head of the International Monetary Fund, is either the world’s worst liar or the world’s biggest egotist.
He’s the world’s worst liar if he thinks anyone will believe he didn’t know his ladyfriends at French sex parties (aka orgies) were not being paid for their, um, services. And he’s the world’s biggest egotist if he was genuinely unaware that these women were prostitutes (say, if the women had been hired by an employee) and thought they were all just fielding cumshots as they lay in awe of his awesome sexual prowess. When we think of people who hire sex workers, we probably conjure up the image of a shadow-y dudes, all back-alley-creepy-like. But what about the women that pay for it? It’s rare, but it happens. From “sex tourists” in the Caribbean to the ladies who hire strippers, more women are paying for sex than ever before. Click through for some examples of LadyJohns, or LadyJanes, as I prefer to call them.
Dominique Strauss-Kahn is crying into his champagne: politicians are considering a ban on prostitution in France. The law would make it illegal to pay for sex, punishing johns with six month prison sentences and $4,000 fines. Currently a john will only be punished if the prostitute is underage or “particularly vulnerable,” such as from illness; pimping is also illegal. Keep reading »
Don’t waste your precious time and money on dinner and drinks with a fugly troll. And don’t be punished for your “high standards.”
Instead, pay the beautiful ladies of WhatsYourPrice.com for their time. Yeah, I don’t understand What’s Your Price, either, other than it sells itself as a “dating site” rather than an escort service. Keep reading »
Whether or not you believe Dominique Strauss-Kahn sexually assaulted a hotel maid in New York City this spring (and I, personally, believe that he did), we can all agree the former head of the International Monetary Fund is a sleazy dude. Not long after he was accused by Nafissatou Diallo, a Guinean immigrant, of forcing her to perform oral sex, a French journalist named Tristane Banon spoke out and said Strauss-Kahn attempted to rape her back in 2003 when she came to interview him at a Paris apartment. Not too long after, the French newspaper Le Parisien reported that Air France had an unofficial policy of only allowing men to work in first class when Strauss-Kahn flew because he routinely sexually harassed their stewardesses, like the time he allegedly told one woman, “What a nice ass!” So I’m not too surprised to read on Slate.com that France’s Journal du Dimanche newspaper claims the ex-IMF chief has allegedly been linked to a French prostitution ring.
