”[P]aparazzi can’t get a picture of me doing anything interesting. I’m untouchable. Here’s James Deen peeing in public, making out with a girl in a bar, drunk and puking. Yeah, I’m a porn star. What do you expect?”
– James Deen talks to Interview about his non-pornography role in “The Canyons” with Lindsay Lohan. When asked about paparazzi hounding the set, he admits they “sometimes haven’t been respectful” to Lindsay. Glad to hear he’s not being hounded by paparazzi … but doesn’t Lindsay do all those things, too? [Interview Magazine] [Photo: Interview]
Two years ago, a New Jersey mom filmed an educational video about breastfeeding for Parents magazine’s website and their associated YouTube channel.
Then, to MaryAnn Sahourey’s great horror, some asshole took the video, spliced it with pornography of a woman who looked like Sahourey having sex, and reposted it online. The kicker is that both Sahourey’s name and the the name of her infant daughter were posted along with it. Keep reading »
I thought a post about the passing of an adult film actress who was known as the “Queen Of Clown Porn” could be interesting. But the illness and death of Hollie Stevens, age 30, of breast cancer is nothing short of absolutely tragic. Friends say that Stevens had no health insurance and couldn’t access decent health care; a lump on her breast claimed her life barely out of her 20s. Keep reading »
No, no, no, Lindsay Lohan is not going to be in a porn — her new co-star on a flick called “The Canyons” – has a long history in pornography. James Deen appeared in hundreds of adult films and as our own Julie put it, it’s all because of his “nerd appeal.” He and LiLo are expected to star in the thriller about twentysomethings on a “quest for power, love, sex and success in 2012 Hollywood,” written by American Psycho author Bret Easton Ellis. Should be fun.
Now let’s get to know James Deen … in the most safe-for-work way we possibly can. Keep reading »
President Bill Clinton co-hosted a party with Prince Albert of Monaco and took a photograph with three beautiful young women.
Those women just happened to be porn stars. According to The Atlantic Wire, one woman is Brooklyn Lee, who appeared in the porn flick “Secretaries 4″; another is Tasha Reign, who appeared in “Farm Girls Gone Bad”; and the third woman has been identified as someone named Jennifer Taule. Everyone from Page Six to the UK’s Daily Mail is falling over themselves over “Bubba and the porn babes.”

Let’s talk about your taste in pornography. Is it highbrow enough? Pinkies up, chaps!
Philosopher and How Proust Can Change Your Life author Alain de Botton is deeply concerned about this issue. So he plans to take one for the team and meet with “leaders in porn and the arts,” according to the UK’s Telegraph newspaper, “to bring about a better kind of pornography.”
I didn’t realize there could be better and worse pornography, so long as it’s all legal, consensual and no one is wearing frosted lipstick. But the esteemed philosopher disagrees. Keep reading »
The economy. Education. The wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. These are just a few of the many important issues facing American people today. And the one GOP wannabe presidential candidate Rick Santorum has zeroed in his focus on?

Sometimes Lindsay Lohan is just awful. But sometimes, I really do feel bad for her. Today is one of those days, because a porn star named Alex Torres bragged on a radio show Friday that he slept with LiLo while her father Michael Lohan slept upstairs. The actor who goes by the screen named “Voodoo” — and is apparently the same Alex Torres who was canned for filming a sex tape while skydiving — even hinted that Lindsay paid him for the rendezvous. Lindsay’s rep brushed off the gossip, huffing, “I don’t feel the need to respond to claims made by a porn star.” Considering Lindsay posed for Playboy, perhaps they should not be throwing stones. “There’s this experience I have repeatedly which is so symbolic. I work for this big company, Vivid Entertainment, and you walk in the second floor, the editing suite, and there are anywhere between five and eight men, sitting in front of computer screens, watching naked women have sex. I am the only woman in the room, and I am the only woman with clothes on. And that sort of says it all, right? I’m interrupting this hetero-normative male-dominated space. All of a sudden I show up, and all the women they’ve been interacting with for the past eight hours have been naked and moaning and I am not doing either of those things! So I feel like it’s symbolic of the industry, because, in fact, I am a total minority as a woman, and even more so as an out queer woman and as an out feminist. Ultimately, the people who are in my bubble, my production crew, the performers that I work with, everyone at Vivid, is 100 percent awesome; they really support my work, they believe in it, they get it, if they don’t get it, they trust me enough to go do what I want to do.”
— Feminist pornographer Tristan Taormino (also the author of The Ultimate Guide To Anal Sex For Women, amongst other books!) on what it’s like to be a woman who makes pornography in a male-dominated industry. Vivid Entertainment is the same company that offered big bucks to royal embarrassments Pippa and James Middleton and the woman with two vaginas — so it may not the classiest company out there, but at least they’re evolved enough to have hired a sex-positive feminist with a decent idea what other people —women, who’ve have thunk? — want from their porn.
