True, we may put a lot of energy into expounding on the body image havoc Photoshop wreaks on the impressionable minds of America’s youth, but we have to be able to laugh at life from time to time. That’s the route the clever folks at Zink magazine took, making their own Photoshop satire with this spread of digitally altered models so stretched they’re giving Gumby a run for his money. The re-touchers didn’t just stop at ridiculously skinny arms and legs, but also played up the undesirable by enlarging the model’s feet and butt. You can bet no body-conscious teen would aspire to any of these unrealistic images.
