For the November issue of Vogue, Anna and Co. rounded up the female stars of the upcoming movie musical “Nine.” Four of them—Nicole Kidman, Marion Cotillard, Penelope Cruz, and Kate Hudson—are on the cover together, but the overly airbrushed shot makes it oh-so-obvious that photographer Annie Liebovitz shot them separately and spliced them together in Photoshop. The November issue of Vanity Fair features one of my favorite actresses, Penelope Cruz, on the cover, channeling Elizabeth Taylor in “Cleopatra.” And in the cover story, Penelope’s interviewer pauses to ask her a very important—no, make that universe-altering—question: Who’s the better kisser, Scarlett Johansson, whom she smooched in “Vicky Cristina Barcelona,” or Charlize Theron, whom she kissed in the 2004 flick, “Head in the Clouds.” Penelope played coy and answered, “No matter how I answer that I will be in trouble. But interestingly, back in 2006, when Penelope was asked to divulge her best onscreen kiss ever, she said, “Can I say Charlize Theron? Yes, Charlize, Charlize, Charlize.” Could ScarJo have topped that? It’s possible—she did score Ryan Reynolds.

Now that girl-on-girl kisses are no big thing on TV and in movies (though we still think way too many are publicity stunts), there are many A-list actresses who have swapped spit with multiple starlets onscreen. Here, 13 examples, with video, natch.

Oh, Lindsay. Evidently, “Hangover” director Todd Phillips offered her the part of Jade, the stripper, after Lohan’s agent worked hard to get her considered. But she didn’t like the script and turned it down. So Heather Graham ended up playing the part. And, of course, the movie went on to become one of the hottest flicks of the summer. This is pretty ironic, because LiLo has stripped on screen before—in the flick “I Know Who Killed Me,” a 2007 movie that most people have never even heard of.

Most girls want to be just like their big sisters, right? Well, that can be hard when your big sis is big time. Miley Cyrus’ little sister, Noah, is only nine, but she’s already showing signs of becoming a mini-Miley. Exhibit A: her YouTube series “Noie and Em.” Exhibit B: the fact that she goes by Noie, which sounds an awful lot like Miley. Exhibit C: the other day, Noie was photographed on the red carpet wearing a pink Juicy Couture dress, way too much mascara, and pounding a Red Bull. Supposedly, Noie has her sights set on Disney, like someone we know. “I love my sister Miley,” she said. “When I grow up I want to be just like her.” Right, because Miley is so grown up herself.

Woody Allen is a hit or miss type of genius – critics loved Annie Hall and Match Point, but hated Cassandra’s Dream and Melinda and Melinda.  His movies either blow your mind or make you feel like you’ve blown 12 bucks at the theater.  That being said, I’m a total Woody Allen neophyte, which is strange considering I’m a neurotic native New Yorker.  To be honest, at first, there was nothing drawing me to Vicky Cristina Barcelona – I’m not particularly into the actors, didn’t think there was an exciting storyline, etcetera.  But the hype got the better of me, so I decided to pop my Woody Allen cherry after all.

We’re really looking forward to seeing Javier Bardem in Vicky Cristina Barcelona because he has this chameleon-like ability that allows the actor to disappear in front of the audience. He looked completely menacing and psychotic in No Country For Old Men, so we’re psyched to see him in another romantic role. We’re hoping for some hot and heavy action between him, Scarlett Johansson and Rebecca Hall, so we can get a great look at his beautiful body and hear him whisper sweet nothings in his Spanish accent. Girlfriend Penelope Cruz is truly a lucky woman.

From co-ed LUG’s to Hollywood’s hottest stars, girl-on-girl action is steaming up the streets and screens across the U.S. What publicly started with Madonna kissing Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera at the Video Music Awards in 2003, has grown into a full-on, leggings-style TREND.

Julie Newmar, the actress who originated the role of Catwoman in the Batman TV series recently said Angelina Jolie would own the part. “She’s tremendously popular with women because she’s both a heroine and a villainess,” Julie said. “When you look at the staggering box office of this current film, which actress wouldn’t want to jump in?” Now, the Dark Knight writers don’t have any plans to bring back the character in the current franchise, but when Catwoman is resurrected, these actresses will certainly get into cat fights (har) with each other over who gets cast. Oh Woody Allen, you perv. The director’s newest project, Vicky Cristina Barcelona, stars his current muse, Scarlett Johansson, alongside Penelope Cruz and Javier Bardem. By the looks of the new trailer, the film features much, much hotness, including a kiss between Johansson and Cruz. Let’s hope this movie is actually good.
