Olivia Palermo totally called the paps on herself yesterday — there’s a whole series of shots of her just standing around on those super uncomfortable cobblestones in NYC’s Meatpacking District. She’s practically posing for the cameras. Like Paris Hilton, I cannot comprehend what her life must be like. Spa dates and beach vacations and buying shoes that cost more than our apartments. But whatever, I ain’t mad at it, because she totally works it. I mean, she always looks impeccable and photograph-ready, which, I suppose, is the point. [Photo: Pacific Coast News]

Olivia Palermo, man. So far as I can tell, Olivia doesn’t seem to have a job or anything, so her days are spent sunbathing, traveling around the world and frolicking with her boyfriend Johannes Huebl. I suppose that gives her plenty of time to pick out outfits and look adorbs. [Photo: Fame/Flynet]
Olivia Palermo! Why is she still famous? We have no idea, but we covet the hell out of her glossy chestnut hair and laid-back luxe wardrobe ― I guess you could say she’s kind of our Regina George. We’ve long shunned turtlenecks, but her fresh take on this thick, chunky fisherman-inspired knit breathes new life into the old winter stalwart. You can make like Olivia and layer a fur vest over the traditional down version for extra core warmth to weather the temperature drop, or leave the North Face at home for a night out. Keep reading »
Okay fine, maybe fall fashion isn’t so bad. I mean, autumn colors — the brown and gold and red hues found in falling leaves — are pretty gorgeous. Look at how chic and seasonal Olivia Palermo looks in this mustard-gold cable knit sweater with wine-colored skinny tuxedo pants. (Even though Olivia is famous for no good reason, I’m always glad she is because her outfits are so cute.)Find out how to get her look — for less! — after the jump!

Olivia Palermo, still arguably semi-famous for god knows what reason, but it’s because of outfits like this one that I’m glad she holds the attention of the paparazzi. This mostly white ensemble is easy to replicate on a budget too, with every piece but one costing under $20. Get the deets after the jump! Keep reading »
Why is Olivia Palermo still famous? Why is she still snapped by the paparazzi on a weekly basis? Why does she sit front row at every show from New York to Paris come Fashion Week? Here’s the truth: she’s pretty, she’s well-dressed, and she pretty much epitomizes everything there is to love and love to hate about the Manhattan faux-socialite. I say faux because, come on, an MTV show stint and an obscenely wealthy, corrupt father does not a socialite make… or does it? Whatever her cause célèbre may be, I always like to see Olivia looking gorgeous about town, especially with her equally gorgeous boyfriend. I want this outfit, but it probably cost more than my entire wardrobe. This is where Style Stealer comes in… Keep reading »
Our favorite character on MTV’s series “The City” was never super saccharine Whitney Port or hyper-villainous Olivia Palermo–it was Elle PR head Erin Kaplan. Kaplan’s side-eye glare and over-boiled frustration said what we all felt about Palermo’s conniving ways. Well, now she’s got a new gig — as head PR honcho at Teen Vogue. The switch over to Vogue‘s younger sis publication comes on the heels of talk that Teen Vogue may be debuting a reality series of its own. [Fashionista] Keep reading »
Despite the fact that socialite, ahem, we mean, serious fashion journalist for Elle.com, Olivia Palermo was portrayed as the villain on MTV’s “The City,” there’s no denying that the girl has good style. (Hate her all you want, but you know you’d kill for her crazy designer wardrobe.)
Following in the steps of many a socialite before her, Miss Palermo has now transitioned to the role of designer. That is to say, she’s created a mini-collection of bib necklaces. With only five styles, each features a self-tie ribbon closure, flat splatter of beads, and is named after some trendy corner of the world like Tribeca, Le Marais, Mitte (do you know where that is?). And guess what? They come with socialite prices, too. Our verdict: For us normals, cute if you’re not going to pay for it yourself. Otherwise, for the socials: Just what you wear to brunch to keep your outfit clean. Check out some more pics after the jump. [Refinery 29] Keep reading »
Oh noes, Whitney Port and Olivia Palermo might have lost their fake jobs! Fashionista.com is reporting that MTV is canceling “The City” after this season. Rumor has it, MTV is booting Palermo off the network because she was cutting into Snooki’s pickle budget. Just kidding! We don’t know why “The City” would be canceled or if the rumor is even true. Frankly, we’re surprised the “Hills” spin-off lasted this long: Whitney Port has always been très boring, non? The only character we’ll miss is Kelly Cutrone, the People’s Revolution fashion PR girl. Thankfully, Kelly’s got her own show, “Kell On Earth,” on Bravo — but considering she’s one of Whitney Eve‘s biggest advocates, this won’t be the last we’ve seen of Whitney yet. Palermo, however, can crawl back from whence she came. [Fashionista] Keep reading »
