Angelina Jolie’s Kids Don’t Brush Their Teeth, Smell Like Johnny Depp

According to OK! Magazine’s expose on Angelina Jolie’s “bad parenting,” her household is the equivalent of a “an absolute zoo.” “Insiders,” whomever they may be, feel that we should be very concerned about the health, hygiene and safety of the Jolie-Pitt brood. The outlandish accusations after the jump. Keep reading »

Mariah Carey And Nick Cannon Take The Pregnancy Pic To New Weird Levels

A week ago, when Mariah Carey appeared naked on the cover of Life & Style showing off her mondo pregnant-with-twins belly, she said, “I was feeling very vulnerable about taking pictures at all right now, but then I didn’t want to miss this opportunity to document this once-in-a-lifetime experience.” Hubby Nick Cannon revealed that he was having regrets about doing the photo shoot, too. “My children are going to have to see these pictures,” he said. “It’s a little weird. It’s a little nasty. I mean, have you ever seen your parents naked? When they get older and their friends come over they will see the pictures and say, ‘Your daddy’s butt naked.’” It seemed strange at the time, because the image showed Mariah solo, but now that I see this cover of OK! Magazine in the UK, I get it. It takes things to totally new heights with Nick standing behind Mariah, nuzzling her ear, and holding her bazangas. All I have to say is: No! “OK!” Magazine Co-Opts Bullying For Stars “Bullied For Their Weight”

The effects of bullying are in the news everywhere lately, from the teen girl, Megan Meier, who killed herself after being harassed on MySpace, to Rutgers freshman Tyler Clementi and the spate of copycat suicides that followed him. As crushing as the reports of each new suicide can be, I’m also grateful that the mainstream media is finally paying attention to the issues that lay underneath bullying — like an article about Clementi that made last week’s cover of People magazine. Any conversation about bullying is an opportunity to make people think about their own use of intimidation and the abuse of power.

But I take issue with OK! magazine’s recent cover depicting Jennifer Love Hewitt and Jennifer Hudson under the tag line “Bullied For Their Weight: They’ll Never Call Me Fat Again!” Um, skinny, beautiful, rich women are the two victims you could come up with for a bullying story? And they stuck it to their bullies by going on a juice diet? Yeah, that’s the message we want to send: capitulate to the bullies and you won’t be given crap anymore! If some jerks is calling you a heifer, drop from size 16 to size 4. That’ll show ‘em. Keep reading »

Kristen Stewart And Robert Pattinson’s Baby: An OK Magazine Rendering

Okay, OK Magazine. We get that you want to milk this story that Robert Pattinson said he and Kristen Stewart are having a baby, even though it was incredibly obvious that he was kidding when he divulged this to Oprah. But if you were going to do a sketch of what their baby would like like, did you really have to give it eyeliner, gelled hair, and an almost-goatee? Couldn’t you have done the composite for real—I mean, isn’t there an app for that? Also, why call this the Robsten baby when it should obviously be StewPatz? [OK] Keep reading »

Kourtney Kardashian Gets The Deluxe OK! Photoshop Treatment

Another celeb has taken to Twitter in order to address outrageous magazine Photoshopping. But while Demi Moore fought against the claims that she was altered, Kourtney Kardashian is readily admitting that her body in real life does not match what appears on the cover of OK! magazine. And to make matters worse, in the race to secure exclusives, it seems that editors failed to actually ensure the rights to the story. “One of those weeklies got it wrong again … they didn’t have an exclusive with me,” tweeted Kourtney. “And I gained 40 pounds while pregs, not 26 … But thanks!” In addition to their inaccurate figures, the magazine also altered her cover image, making her appear skinnier than she really is. Kim Kardashian Can Add “Beauty Editor” To Her Resume

Kim Kardashian is one busy lady. Between guesting on “America’s Next Top Model,” on-again, off-againing with Reggie Bush, dying her hair blond and announcing a new fragrance deal, she can now add “Beauty Editor” to her list of accomplishments. Hot on the heels of not quite A-listers getting in on the print world action (Levi Johnston, we’re talking to you), tabloid OK! magazine announced today that Kim will be a contributing beauty editor and dispense her knowledge of creams and potions and blue Barbie eyeshadow to the world. As a former magazine beauty editor myself, I’m so honored that she’s joined our illustrious ranks of the few and the proud. I would warn her that it’s not all fun and games though. Trying out new facial techniques and getting your hair done for free is really tough! (Oh wait, on the other hand, she should be just fine.) And something tells us she’ll get to bypass all that pesky copy to edit and those unpleasant late nights in production and pass straight to the makeup chair. Keep reading »

Top Ten Worst Celebrity Baby Names

Nahla Ariela and Shiloh Nouvel are certainly unique baby names (ain’t nothin’ wrong with that!), but celebrities, in their quest to be obnoxiously “different” often give truly bizarre names to their kids — ones that are sure to get them beat up in 5th grade. The Times U.K. put together a list of the 50 weirdest last year, some of which we agreed with and some that we, well, thought were darn cute. Our picks for the Top Ten Worst, plus five weird celebrity baby names we actually think are cute, all after the jump…
