Christina Aguilera might have filed for a divorce from Jordan Bratman in October, but I guess she’s not ready to open up about her love life. On Saturday, she went on a double date at the SoHo House in Hollywood with her engaged friends Nicole Richie and Joel Madden. When they left, Christina had her date duck in the back seat and she threw a blanket over him, trying to hide his identity. Fortunately, it was ineffective and we know it was Matthew D. Rutler, who was a set assistant on her upcoming movie “Burlesque.” Nice try, Xtina! [PopEater]

“I’m a Virgo and the sign is a virgin. So when I was 16, I got the word virgin tattooed on my wrist, thinking I was sooo deep and cool. And now I just look really weird having virgin written across my wrist and I have to explain it.”

While we’re not exactly superstitious, it doesn’t hurt to employ a few extra sources of good luck, right? Though we’re not ready to start carrying around a rabbit foot, we’d totally consider a pretty but powerful charm in the form of jewelry. Nicole Richie’s House of Harlow 1960 Horseshoe Bangle toes the line between over the top and chic without going overboard on the kitschiness. Keep it simple by wearing just the horseshoe or load up on bangles and hope for the best in luck and love.
Nicole Richie has come a long way since her “Simple Life” days and, aesthetically speaking, nowhere is that more evident than her jewelry line House of Harlow. We remain skeptical about her Winter Kate clothing franchise, but Nicole’s jewelry is consistently an expert blend of vintage and modern, forcing us to lust after pretty much all of it. Sadly, at about $150 for a bracelet and as much as $250 per necklace, the stuff isn’t exactly free. If you’re in the market for an awesome piece of costume jewelry, though, give House of Harlow a look, because we pretty much guarantee you’ll find something to add to your wish list. Keep reading »
