International crisis alert! Supermodel and all-around babe Natalia Vodianova dared to show up at the Harper’s Bazaar Women of the Year ceremony night before last with legs that had not been shaved. I know! You can hardly believe it either. The Daily Mail dedicated an entire article to this body hair situation (as did we, apparently), and, get this, Vodianova had the nerve to flaunt her fur by pulling up her skirt for the photographers. Not only that! Coco Perez has previously documented sightings of the model’s thigh hair. As StyleList points out, she’s a mother of three, so maybe she didn’t have time to get out the razor. Get a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the Louis Vuitton campaign for fall/winter 2010, featuring Christy Turlington, Karen Elson, and Natalia Vodianova — or, as Marc Jacobs calls them, “three of the most beautiful women, I think, in the world.” The ladies pose for photographer Steven Klein in a faux dressing room done up in old-school Hollywood glamour. There’s lots of ’50s ponytails, retro-dresses, and, of course, bags, bags, and more bags. It’s definitely a return to tailored femininity; punk rock, it ain’t. If Gisele Bundchen in “Taxi,” Gemma Ward in “The Strangers”, and pretty much the entire cast of “Head Over Heels” are any evidence, the model-slash-actress gig rarely works out well. It’s not the case in every situation, but the crossover from runway to reel often just results in a hot girl strutting around and delivering awkward lines. That said, we’re pretty thrilled about the “Clash of the Titans” clip above. The other day, we posted some of the gorgeous images from Sean Combs’ and Natalia Vodianova’s Vogue pictorial, “Brief Encounter,” an homage to Diddy’s soon-to-be-released Last Tango in Paris album. Now, we’ve got the behind-the-scenes video of the pair posing and faux falling in love for photographer Annie Leibovitz. “It’s a love story,” the man formerly known as Puffy intones, and a beautiful one at that. Of course, it wouldn’t be Diddy if he wasn’t promoting something. He goes on to claim that when he played the album for Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour, she was “dancing all around the conference room.” Wintour dancing? We find that a tad hard to envision. Not only is Natalia set to replace Christy Turlington as the face of Yves Saint Laurent, she’ll apparently also star as the face of next season’s Givenchy ads. Fancy!
