Supermodel Natalia Vodianova Dares To Leave House With Unshaven Legs

International crisis alert! Supermodel and all-around babe Natalia Vodianova dared to show up at the Harper’s Bazaar Women of the Year ceremony night before last with legs that had not been shaved. I know! You can hardly believe it either. The Daily Mail dedicated an entire article to this body hair situation (as did we, apparently), and, get this, Vodianova had the nerve to flaunt her fur by pulling up her skirt for the photographers. Not only that! Coco Perez has previously documented sightings of the model’s thigh hair. As StyleList points out, she’s a mother of three, so maybe she didn’t have time to get out the razor. Check out the hair concern here, if you so desire. [StyleList] Keep reading »

Behind The Scenes Of The Louis Vuitton 2010 Fall/Winter Campaign

Get a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the Louis Vuitton campaign for fall/winter 2010, featuring Christy Turlington, Karen Elson, and Natalia Vodianova — or, as Marc Jacobs calls them, “three of the most beautiful women, I think, in the world.” The ladies pose for photographer Steven Klein in a faux dressing room done up in old-school Hollywood glamour. There’s lots of ’50s ponytails, retro-dresses, and, of course, bags, bags, and more bags. It’s definitely a return to tailored femininity; punk rock, it ain’t. Makeup artist extraordinaire Pat McGrath makes a cameo. It’s all very pretty-pretty and perfect for those among you who consider yourselves girlie girls. Keep reading »

Natalia Vodianova Is A Goth Fairytale Princess

Natalia Vodianova‘s photo shoots seem to always tell an interesting story. This time she appears as some sort of a goth and glamorous fairytale princess with fiery long red hair in April’s Vogue Paris. We’ve always been partial to that look. [Fashion Copious]

Natalia Vodianova Makes An Intimidating Medusa

If Gisele Bundchen in “Taxi,” Gemma Ward in “The Strangers”, and pretty much the entire cast of “Head Over Heels” are any evidence, the model-slash-actress gig rarely works out well. It’s not the case in every situation, but the crossover from runway to reel often just results in a hot girl strutting around and delivering awkward lines. That said, we’re pretty thrilled about the “Clash of the Titans” clip above. Supermodel Natalia Vodianova has been CGI’d into a slithering, soul-crushing Medusa with nary a hint of the preening and posing we usually see in model actresses. Nicely done. Behind The Scenes Of Diddy And Natalia’s Vogue Shoot

The other day, we posted some of the gorgeous images from Sean Combs’ and Natalia Vodianova’s Vogue pictorial, “Brief Encounter,” an homage to Diddy’s soon-to-be-released Last Tango in Paris album. Now, we’ve got the behind-the-scenes video of the pair posing and faux falling in love for photographer Annie Leibovitz. “It’s a love story,” the man formerly known as Puffy intones, and a beautiful one at that. Of course, it wouldn’t be Diddy if he wasn’t promoting something. He goes on to claim that when he played the album for Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour, she was “dancing all around the conference room.” Wintour dancing? We find that a tad hard to envision. Natalia Vodianova And P. Diddy Get Their Train On

Model extraordinaire Natalia Vodianova and international player Sean Combs get all romantic and dreamy but not exactly freaky in this Annie Leibovitz-shot layout from the February 2010 issue of Vogue. It’s a nod to P. Diddy’s upcoming album, Last Train to Paris. More pretty pics after the jump. Keep reading »

You’ll Be Seeing A Lot More Natalia Soon

Russian supermodel Natalia Vodianova is set to have a very busy spring—she’s just signed on to do three major ad campaigns—and us Frisky-folk couldn’t be more pumped up about it. Not only is Natalia set to replace Christy Turlington as the face of Yves Saint Laurent, she’ll apparently also star as the face of next season’s Givenchy ads. Fancy! And I’m not done—she has been signed up by friend Stella McCartney to front the stylish British brand (Natalia made her only catwalk appearance in September for the label). Just in case you’d like to see a little bit more of her, we’ve got the famous Vogue “Alice in Wonderland” editorial, after the jump! Keep reading »

I’m Convinced That Glittery Makeup Can Work In Real Life

We’ve talked about crazy makeup trends before—and even went to the source of this current glittery eyeshadow trend—but up until now, I was totally anti. Sparkle-related makeup was always one of those things that looked great on celebs or in photo shoots, but, for me personally, I couldn’t be convinced of how to pull it off in real life without looking like a disco ball—until now. Witness model Natalia Vodianova’s spread in the new December issue of V (one of the photos is above!). For the first time, it’s do-able glitter—and I think I’m intrigued because here is how it works … Keep reading »
