Alleged Killer Joran Van Der Sloot Says He’s Getting Marriage Proposals

Who wants to marry an accused serial killer? Joran van der Sloot, 22, who has been charged with killing a young Peruvian woman in her hotel room, told De Telegraaf newspaper that he has received several marriage proposals. “One of them even wants me to get her pregnant,” he said. Ladies, really, get some standards!

Granted, van der Sloot is as reliable as a ripped condom: he has admitted, and then retracted, confessions linking him to the 2005 disappearance of Natalee Holloway, a teenager on vacation in Aruba. Van der Sloot also told police he killed Stephany Flores, 21, but later retracted his confession. But I guess he is rather attractive in that probably-a-murderer kind of way? I’m kidding. The Joran Van Der Sloot Plot Thickens

As Joran van der Sloot sits in prison in Peru, awaiting trial for the murder of Stephany Flores Ramirez, more and more nasty information keeps coming out about the 22-year-old Dutch man who is still the main suspect in the 2005 disappearance of Natalee Holloway. The details of the whole extortion plot have come to light. Apparently, van der Sloot contacted the lawyer of Beth Holloway, Natalee’s mom, and said that for a price of $250,000 he would give the details of Natalee’s death and the location of her body. Holloway agreed—but called the FBI to have them record the exchange first. After a portion of the money had traded hands, van der Sloot said that Natalee had been trying to stop him from leaving her when they got in a physical struggle. During the fight, Natalee hit her head on a rock and died. Van der Sloot said he took her body to his father’s house, where he buried her in the basement. However, it was soon discovered that the house wasn’t even built in 2005 and that van der Sloot was lying. The FBI opted not to charge van der Sloot with extortion then. Using the Holloways’ money, he traveled to Peru, where two weeks later, he killed Flores. Keep reading »

Now Joran Van Der Sloot Is Wanted For Extortion

There are only two options in the cases of Natalee Holloway and Stephany Flores, who were killed exactly five years apart to the day: either Joran Van Der Sloot killed them, or he is the unluckiest person on the planet and also the stupidest for continually fanning the flames. Remember in 2008, when he was recorded in a conversation with a friend saying that Holloway died when she had a seizure during sex on the beach, and that he’d called a friend to help him dump the body in the ocean? Van Der Sloot later claimed that this wasn’t true, and that he was lying to impress the friend. (Yeah. So impressive.) The tape was eventually deemed insufficient evidence. But, apparently, just a few weeks ago, Van Der Sloot was communicating with an unnamed party in Alabama about Holloway’s disappearance. And he allegedly said that for $250,000, he would reveal the location of her body. The money was supposedly wired to him, but the information he gave was not accurate. He has now been charged by the U.S. with extortion and fraud, in addition to the murder charge in Peru. Like I said, on the small sliver of a chance that this guy is innocent, he seriously has not done himself any favors. [Radar Online] Keep reading »

Joran Van Der Sloot A Murder Suspect. Again.

Joran Van Der Sloot, 22, has the world’s creepiest name. And he’s a suspect in a murder trial. Again. If his name sounds familiar, it’s because this Dutch dude was arrested twice in connection with the disappearance of Natalee Holloway, once shortly after she disappeared during a graduation trip to Aruba in 2005 and again in 2007. In 2008, a Dutch reporter recorded Van Der Sloot allegedly telling a friend how he hid Holloway’s body (which hasn’t been found)—but Van Der Sloot has denied that was what he was referring to.

Now Stephany Flores Ramirez, the 21-year-old daughter of Peruvian racecar driver Ricardo Flores, is missing — and she was last seen with Van Der Sloot. Keep reading »
