Rumors abound about the possibility of a third “Sex and the City” movie, so now Christ Noth (aka Mr. Big) is being interviewed and saying dumb shit. I can’t comment on Noth’s history of saying dumb shit in interviews because I don’t generally pay attention to “Sex and the City” news, but this interview excerpt is pretty notable:
“One of the things I tell people is that he never tried to pretend he was anything other than what he was. It was [Carrie] who tried to pretend he was something he wasn’t. He was always honest about himself — he never cheated on her. The relationship just didn’t work, and he went on to get married while she went on to … how many boyfriends did she have? She was such a whore! [laughs] There’s a misconception that Carrie was a victim of him, and that’s not the case — she was a strong, smart woman.”

“I remember when we screened the first movie in London, when Mr. Big shows Carrie that closet he’s built for her and the entire audience clapped. I found that devastating. Maybe that’s a strong word, but I was disheartened. Because I thought: ‘Is this what these women in the audience think true love is? A man who has enough money to buy you a walk-in closet?’ ”
– Cynthia Nixon in this week’s New York Times‘ Style section, revealing she’s not unaware of the many worthy criticisms about “Sex & The City,” especially how money has factored into Carrie’s relationship with Big.
After the jump, Nixon also addressed, again, the controversial remarks she made last year in the Times‘ Magazine when she said that homosexuality was a choice for her. On Friday, May 30th, shoe stores will be empty, makeup counters customerless, salons won’t have a hair to do, and every man in America will be single for a few hours. It’s opening night of the Sex and the City movie! While looking at all the ads alone can increase your levels of estrogen, and thereby your need for a cosmo, what are the men to do when they have the whole world — sans movie theaters — in the palm of their hands? “I am dating a new guy and I want to have sex with him, but he’s extremely well endowed. If I start having regular sex with him will I stretch my vagina permanently?” — Dating Mr. Big
Unless his penis is the size of a 9 lb. baby, the answer is “no.” Vaginas have a lot of natural elasticity, and even expand with arousal. The width of a large penis is not likely to stretch your vagina any noticeable amount.
If this is an issue you’re worried about, try doing daily Kegel exercises. Kegels are like pilates for your vagina, tightening the muscles that surround the urethra, vagina, and anus. If you’re not sure which muscle to contract for this exercise, try testing it out while you’re peeing. The muscle you use the stop the flow of urine is the same one you should contract for kegels. Start with reps of 10 a day and increase as needed.
Now go have sex, my child!
