Time to officially file Monica in the “’90s Teen Idols Who Have Aged Well” category. Doesn’t she look incredible? I love everything about her outfit, from the trendy mint-colored jeans (jeggings, to be exact) to the silk tunic to those funky fabric sandals that look so cool on everyone else but whenever I try them on, make it appear as though I’ve constructed crude footwear out of paper bags. “The Boy Is Mine” is a hard act to follow, but the new duet by Brandy and Monica is the very definition of underwhelming. “It All Belongs To Me” is their first song together in 14 years (do you feel old now?), but in all that time the best they could come up with is meh.
