Note to the cast and crew of the new “Charlie’s Angels“: it probably isn’t a good idea to slap the butt of the show’s leading actress. Star magazine is reporting that Minka Kelly was sexually harassed on the set of the show in late August and was, understandably, very upset about the incident. Here’s what allegedly went down: a staffer walked up behind her, slapped her tush, and then waved a $100 bill at her. Apparently, he thought it was funny? A source on the set squealed, “It seems like it was meant to be a joke, but clearly it was inappropriate. Minka was shocked and absolutely irate. The New “Charlie’s Angels” Look Like A Page From A Catalogue

Behold, the first official image of the new “Charlie’s Angels”—Annie Ilonzeh (“General Hospital”), Rachael Taylor (“Grey’s Anatomy”), and Minka Kelly (“Friday Night Lights”). The rebooted show is almost certain to get picked up by ABC, but we’re kind of disappointed with this photo. I was hoping their style would be much edgier. I mean, Annie’s dress is on of those prom-ish disasters favored by the women on “The Bachelor,” and don’t even get me started on Rachael’s brown satin jumpsuit. Minka is the only one who passes fashion muster here. Also, a “Charlie’s Angels” promo pic without the guns and iconic triad stance? Pass. Keep reading »

The television reboot of “Charlie’s Angels” is very close to being cast. Annie Ilonzeh of “General Hospital” will play Kate. Rachael Taylor, now Callie’s obstetrician on “Grey’s Anatomy,” will play the youngest of the threesome, Abby—a Krav Maga wunderkind and the daughter of a Wall Street con artist who picked up many of his tricks. But it’s the third of the Angels that I’m most excited about. Minka Kelly, aka Lyla Garrity of “Friday Night Lights,” aka Derek Jeter’s girlfriend, is close to signing a deal to play Marisa, a former U.S. Marine who is a weapons expert and totally OCD.
