I’m not going to lie — I have watched the new music video for Miley Cyrus’ incredibly catchy single “We Can’t Stop,” like, four times now and I’m still discovering new fuckery. The premise is this: uh, Miley is having a party and she’s invited a lot of her friends and they are probably doing drugs and it appears some trippy stuff goes on. Or maybe they only think trippy stuff is going on because they’re high. Oh maybe this is just how Miley and crew roll … like with taxidermy on a leash and bread orgies. Looks like fun to me. Sounds nasty, doesn’t it? On last night’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” the talk show host debuted the video for “(I Wanna) Channing All Over Your Tatum,” the ridiculous song he first introduced on his show back in February. The star-studded video features Chan (natch), his “White House Down” costar Jamie Foxx, Kimmel fave Matt Damon, Channing’s “Magic Mike” costar Olivia Munn, Gabourey Sidibe from “Precious” (random), and Miley Cyrus. Miley rocks a red crop-top that says CHANNING on it, so now you know what to get me for my birthday this year. Anyway, watch the silliness above!
Yes, yes, that’s exactly what you think it is: Miley Cyrus is sporting a pair of half-denim-half-sweatpants-pants. And that’s not all! She wore this ensemble to a party for Myspace (sidenote: the last time Myspace was relevant was when Miley was 13), and paired these very ratchet pantaloons with a cropped leather bustier and leather jacket (with a bunch of shit written on the back). I mean, I know she’s probs stressing over her on-again off-again Liam Hemsworth situation, but geez lady, that’s no excuse for white Dyeables pumps. [Image: Fame/Flynet]
She’s at it again! Amanda Bynes has hurled her favorite insult at two more famous faces. Yesterday, she went after both Perez Hilton (who has been writing on his website about her seemingly public meltdown) and Miley Cyrus. I’m not entirely sure why she is pissed at Miley, but I think it has something to do with Amanda finding Liam Hemsworth hot. Really, there seems no rhyme or reason for Amanda calling someone “ugly.” She just can’t think of anything else to say! Here’s a timeline of all those she has hit with the “ugly” stick in 2013…
Her engagement to Liam Hemsworth supposedly just ended, but you wouldn’t know this cowgirl has the blues — Miley Cyrus spent this past Saturday night as a single lady gettin’ low, low, low, low at rapper Juicy J’s show in Los Angeles. The pop star showed off her twerking abilities to the song “Bandz A Make Her Dance,” after Wiz Khalifa and Amber Rose (I guess they’re her pals now?) pushed her onstage. I don’t consider myself a good judge of dancing in general, let alone something so “of the moment” (i.e. cool and hip) as twerking, but I dunno, her booty looks poppin’ to me? I want to learn how to do this. Someone teach me! [Idolator]
Miley Cyrus is back, and her new single, “We Can’t Stop,” is the last stop in her transition from Disney star to Rap Game Hannah Montana. Let’s be real — we saw the signs. Twerking in a unicorn onesie. Partnering with Snoop Lion on “Ashtrays and Heartbreaks.” Posing near nude and looking like a hotter Susan Powter on the cover of V magazine. Now, the transition is complete with this new lowkey party anthem produced by Mike Will Made It. Moving away a bit from his trademark dark, woozy, strip-club-in-hell sound, Mike WiLL drops a considerably lighter beat for Miley to warble charmingly about dancing all night, and just having a good time. Summer — I’m ready. You should be too. Check it out.
Was Miley Cyrus twerking while her makeup team applied her glam look for the Maxim Hot 100 party? Miley is the mag’s choice for hottest woman alive, but the chalky white makeup around her mouth makes her look more like the hottest ventriloquist doll. Like, from far away, her mouth looks like it has skin-colored bandages around it. (Side story: I once hooked up with a guy who tried to cover an ENORMOUS zit on his chin with a small piece of band-aid and it had the same effect.) I suspect an overzealous approach to covering blemishes and/or beard burn around the mouth or a weird attempt at facial contouring is to blame for this makeup mishap. Or twerking, because Miley always be twerkin’.
We may think celebrities are always picture perfect, but every once in a while we see behind the curtain — especially when those bright bulbs are flashing on the red carpet. Makeup is required. More specifically, powder. But it’s a delicate balance. Too much and your favorite celeb may look like a clown, too little and they’re shinier than an oil slick.
