There’s no story like “The Wizard of Oz,” but the upcoming film “Oz: The Great and Powerful” adds a new twist on the classic tale, telling the story of the Wizard himself, before Dorothy came skipping up the Yellow Brick Road. James Franco plays the future Wizard, while Michelle Williams, Mila Kunis and Rachel Weisz play the three witches, Glinda, Theodora and Evanora. The latter — Evanora, the Wicked Witch of the East — is pictured in the just released poster for the film, in theaters on March 8. I’ll be there, tornado or not.

Amy Adams is a really wonderful actress (check her out in “The Master” — she gives Philip Seymour Hoffman an amazing handjob, trust us). But for as great as she is, she’s never really been on the high fashion radar. So we thought she was a surprising choice as Band of Outsiders newest celeb model. BoA is not above stunts — earlier this year they held the “longest runway show ever,” which was basically just a storefront window with models in rotating outfits — and in the past they’ve used both Michelle Williams and Rupert Grint as models. Love It Or Leave It: Michelle Williams’ Screening Style
This is what Michelle Williams wore to a special New York screening of “Take This Waltz.” I can’t really decide how I feel about it — on the one hand, I like the fact that she’s wearing something that seems a bit outside of her regular comfort zone. it’s less straight up feminine and more overtly sexy than a lot of the girly frocks she typically goes for. But then, I think the lace-up corset effect on the top looks a little cheesy. And I can’t co-sign on the white shoes (why not black?). What do you think?
