I don’t have much context for this photo of a bunch of Michael Jackson matryoshka dolls. A friend of mine posted a photo of them on his Facebook the other day — apparently they were a souvenir brought back from a trip to Russia. All I can say is, I would like them very, very, much.

I’ve never been super crazy about Beyonce, personally. Michael Jackson Had An Anti-Abortion Song?
Sony released a 25th anniversary remastered edition of Michael Jackson’s Bad this week, and among the eight previously unreleased songs is … an anti-abortion anthem. “Song Groove,” aka “Abortion Papers,” includes lyrics like, “Those abortion papers / Signed in your name against the words of God / Those abortion papers / Think about life, I’d like to have my child.” At Slate, Amanda Marcotte deems it “a Christianity-heavy screed.” And at Wonkette, Jesse Taylor points out, “Hey, if you abort ‘em, you can’t dangle ‘em.” But Taylor and Marcotte also agree—the song is oddly “catchy.” Read more (and listen to the song!)…

I’m adding this one to my list of favorite eBay auctions along with the fart in a jar and the antique anti-masturbation device. Brandon Tudor of Illinois was auctioning off bird poop that resembled Michael Jackson. When a bird shat on his windshield, Brandon claims the likeness to the late po(o)p star became obvious “after it hardened.” The full listing reads:

Katherine Jackson Reinstated As Guardian Of Michael Jackson’s Children
It seems that the Jackson family turmoil may be starting to settle down given that Katherine Jackson has recently been reinstated as a guardian of her grandchildren and her son Jermaine Jackson has backed off on challenging his brother Michael‘s will.
According to the Los Angeles Times, Superior Court Judge Mitchell Beckloff declared that the 82-year-old Jackson matriarch was doing a “wonderful job” with the late singer’s three children,Prince, 15, Paris, 14, and 10-year-old Blanket. Read more…
