Vogue Editor Doesn’t Like it When Men Dress Up

“I dislike men in fashion. I don’t like it when a man dresses as a fashionista. I don’t think it’s attractive at all. Women in fashion, on the other hand, are very attractive. Women can always make you dream.”

Vogue Italia editor Franca Sozzani, expressing yet another one of her controversial opinions on all things fashion. That’s okay Franca, you can send them all on to me. [

Do A Man’s Exposed Ankles Excite You?

Now that the temperature has finally begun to warm up, more men seem to be cuffing their pants. This gives them the opportunity to show off their shoes and gives the overall look a more casual feel. Sadly, this invention you see before you—”Subs,” or garter belts for guys—isn’t here to eradicate baggy pants. Instead the “Subs” creator wanted to give men who like the down-low style some extra security. The belt goes around the waist and then clips onto a pant waistband so that the wearer can let his jeans hang low without them falling off. Well, that’s at least something, right? Men’s Fashion Is Looking Very Nordic This Winter—Yay Or Nay?

The New York Times points out that men’s sweaters are looking very folksy and Nordic this year, backing up their claim with examples by Topman and Ralph Lauren. We’re down with this slightly retro style for the ladies. It recalls all the goodness of winter—cabins, wood fires, skiing, snow. How do we feel about this look for dudes? Cute? Or should it stay on the ski slopes? [New York Times] Keep reading »
