6 Cocktails Named After Famous Folks

Mel Gibson‘s infamous rants have earned him a lot of haters, but now they’ve also earned him the honor of having a drink named after him. At the Oak Bar in New York’s Plaza Hotel, they’re serving up a Mel ‘Bipolar’ Gibson. Executive chef Eric Hara said of the drink, “Gibson … Bipolar … All these words flying around in the media just jumped out at me. So I made a Gibson, which is a classic cocktail, into something thoroughly twisted.” The cocktail consists of a shot of gin, a shot of Van Gogh Vodka, since the painter was also bipolar, and of course cocktail onions for garnish. Mel Texted To Oksana, “I Wasn’t Safe For You Last Night,” And Allegedly Smashed A Glass Door

As if six different audiotapes screaming “bitch,” “c**t” and “gold digging whore” weren’t enough, now there are alleged Mel Gibson text messages. Radar Online reports that on January 7, 2010 — the day after Mel allegedly punched girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva twice in the head while she was holding their two-month-old daughter, Lucia — he sent Oksana texts acknowledging some sort of craziness the night before. “Oksana, I wasn’t safe for you last night,” the texts allegedly say. “I spent two hours with a therapist today and have regained some perspective. What I’m telling you know [sic] is I am safe and would like to come by and make amends to you, Sascha [her 12-year-old son from a previous marriage], and Lucia. I won’t stay, just let you say your peace [sic] and I’ll say mine.”

We know Mel Gibson likes beavers. But the star has a terribly sexist attitude towards other ladyparts — breasts, to be exact.

A week ago we were all shocked and appalled by an audiotape in which Mel allegedly screamed at his ex-girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva, “You look like a f**king pig in heat and if you get raped by a pack of n***ers it would be your fault.” (And yes, that’s not if she “is” raped, but if she “gets” raped.)

That wasn’t the last of Mel’s Reign Of Boob Terror. In the sixth alleged Mel/Oksana audiotape, released earlier this week, he is screaming at Oksana about her breasts yet again. Keep reading »

Mel Gibson Allegedly Pointed Gun And Threatened To Kill Oksana, Their Baby, And Himself

Trust me, at this point I am crazy tired of writing about how nasty a dude Mel Gibson is. But this new revelation is so shocking, I had to share it. As we’ve heard the story for a while, during a fight on July 6th, Mel punched Oksana Grigorieva twice while she was holding their baby, Lucia. The alleged hits were with such force that they supposedly broke Oksana’s front teeth and gave her a concussion. But according to a source who passed Oksana’s statement on to the police, the fight got way, way, worse. After being hit, Oksana fell on the bed and Mel allegedly tried to choke her with one hand and covered her mouth with the other—while she was still holding the baby. He then allegedly took out a gun and began waving it around. He allegedly threatened to kill her, baby Lucia, Oksana’s 12-year-old son (Sascha, who was hiding in the bedroom), and then himself. Oksana then fled the house with both Lucia and Sascha. Sascha was apparently interviewed by child protective services about the incident last week. Keep reading »

Radar Posts Photo Of Oksana Grigorieva After Allegedly Being Punched By Mel Gibson

Throughout this whole Mel Gibson/Oksana Grigorieva debacle, there has been one source leaving a trail of bits of information: Radar Online. It seems like they must have an inside source here—someone in the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department? Oksana herself? A close friend?—because they were the first to break the news of several of the disgusting quotes in Mel’s 30-minute tirade. They also were the first to post several clips from the tape, which we then listened to in order to tally up the grossness. And now they have posted a photo of Oksana, taken less than 24 hours after Mel allegedly punched her twice while she was holding baby Lucia. The image shows Oksana with a swollen face, her front two teeth broken. “Oksana lost a veneer and the right front tooth was severely chipped,” a source tells them. The site also revealed the name of the dentist who fixed her teeth and says that he saw signs of “blunt force trauma.” If you want to see the image, click here. Mel Gibson and Oksana Grigorieva‘s lawyers will be heading to court this morning, as Oksana tries to get full custody of their daughter, Lucia. Oksana’s main piece of evidence, of course, is the 30-minute tape of Mel going bonkers on the phone—several clips from the tape have now been leaked online. So how does Mel’s camp plan to counter this? They say that they have proof that the tape has been tampered with and edited.
