The season four premiere of “Louie” is still five months off. But we can content ourselves with a little bit of Louie C.K. — well, parts of him, anyway — in these funny mashups on the Tumblr Louis CK One. Each one spoofs the traditional style of a sexy CK One ad with Louis CK-ian imagery. Like, you know, his cute pudgy belly. [Louis CK One]
2013 was a pretty memorable year for pop music, especially if you had lots of opinions on blurred lines and riding a wrecking ball naked. In case you need a recap of pop radio in 2013, musician Robin Skouteris made a mashup of this year’s top 56 songs and their videos. It exhaustively clocks in at just under 10 minutes! IMHO, the Katy Perry “Roar”/Taylor Swift “Trouble” part is the best. (Thanks, commenter LR52185!) [YouTube]

The other day, I posted about Lady Gaga‘s new video, “Alejandro,” and noted that, like, everything in the video was stuff Madonna had done already. I’m not a hater — I like the Gaga — I’m just sayin’. Some of you were like, STFU!, which is fine, because I love you, even when you tell me to STFU, without actually saying that. Anyway, now someone has created a mashup of Madonna and Lady Gaga videos that shows how, like, everything Lady Gaga did, Madonna did already. In a way, I don’t care. Who am I to judge? And it’s pretty much impossible to invent anything “new” these days. On the other hand, it does seem sort of derivative. Regardless, I am TEAM MADONNA for life. Yo, Gaga, you’re not Madonna, and you never will be. [New York Post] Keep reading »
