The online dating scene is rough. Sure, it’s a great way to meet people, but we use the term “people” loosely, as some of the individuals we’ve come in contact with still seem to be in their primitive forms. Obviously, first impressions count … but not to these idiots.

Tip: Don’t do anything that this doucher does. NOTHING. Not only does this self-proclaimed “player” list his profession as “lying and cheating on my wife,” but he tells us he’s not ambitious, calls himself a “narcissistic ass,” and goes on to explain that he lies to women to sleep with them before running home to his wife of only five weeks. If you ask us, it sounds like this guy is the perfect candidate for herpes … and maybe a marketing class. Keep reading »
Wedding season has arrived, which means it’s time to put on something frilly, brush up on your bullshitting skills and sit through the dreaded prequel to your pal’s nuptials: the Bridal Shower. Without fail, the bridesmaids have planned some “fun” games for the group to help break up multiple hours of gift-opening, but what if Purse Raid and Bride Trivia were replaced with more exciting games that would really liven up the party? The next time you’re put in charge of bridal shower activities and want an easy out, perhaps you should suggest one of these way more interesting alternatives. Keep reading »
This Sunday marks six months since I got hitched, and I hope this doesn’t sound all braggy, but man, these last few months have been good ones. I love being married! Even more than I thought I would. That’s not to say I didn’t imagine it would be great; I just wasn’t expecting it to be so much better than simply living together, like we had been for a year and half before we tied the knot. Once upon a time, couples got engaged, picked a venue and sent out save-the-date cards. Cards morphed into postcards and magnets, and these days, the trendy way to announce you’re getting hitched (and we’re invited) is a video save-the-date. Usually the videos are set to some sort of Michael Buble song and feature hazy shots of the couple, but recently, I saw a new favorite—it’s a stop-motion video by about-to-be-marrieds Haley Smith and Jason Harmon. Totally sweet! (And rather eco-friendly, too.) So, are you all over the whole video wedding invite phenomenon or do you think it’s too non-traditional? [Design Sponge] Keep reading »
Before getting your moral molars all impacted, we’d like to make clear that we’re not endorsing having an affair or ruining a perfectly good marriage (or an imperfect one, for that matter).
Whether single or taken, flirting is fun. Getting hitched helps out in the tax and health care departments, but married social life can start to feel like a blur of “dinner at the Newman’s” and “girls’ nights out.” We already know that flirting at the office helps business and is good for substance-free spirit-lifting. Unlike flirting with single blokes, hair flips and deep conversations with married guys aren’t automatic green lights for making a move. Here are ten other reasons to flirt with a man in a (wedding) band. Keep reading »
You’ve got a whole lot of love and you want to give it away to every Tom, Dick and Mary! While swinging around town, perking up your love life with new stud muffins sounds oh-so-sexy, there are some pitfalls of passion that could ruin the relationship you’ve already got going on. Loving more than one person at a time, or polyamory, is an exciting lifestyle, but you’ve got to make sure you’re not living too dangerously. You have to look out for jealousy, fear and, of course, number one. So, here are some tips on how to juggle multiple partners and safely share your fun lovin’ attitude about sex after the jump….
