- Mark Ruffalo, Pink, and Josh Gad — who you might recognize from Broadway’s “The Book Of Mormon” — are all sex addicts in a new, actually-looks-good-even-though-Gwyneth-Paltrow-is-in-it dramedy called “Thanks For Sharing.” It will be pretty hard (no pun intended) to top “Shame” on the big screen sex addiction front, but I’ll give sexypants Ruffalo a shot! Trailer above!

What does every single dude that’s ever starred in a romantic comedy have in common? Well, they’ve all been impersonated by this guy, and they’ve all been in a movie with Jen Aniston.
“The Avengers” smashed box office records this weekend, and who was responsible for most of the smashing in the film? The Incredible Hulk of course! Played by Mark Ruffalo, Hulk is temperamental, strangely lovable, and green. Very, very green. Click through for six gorgeous green pieces that are totally wearable whether or not you’re raging mad … Keep reading »
“That was my first day [on the set] and that was a miserable day. It was smoky, it was hell, and I felt really uncomfortable. I’m not well-endowed, and those suits don’t really show you off in the most …”
– Mark Ruffalo talks about some of the, uh, challenges of playing Hulk in “The Avengers.” No need to finish that sentence, Mark. I know where you’re going with that thought, and I should tell you right now that I don’t care about the size. You have nothing to apologize for. You are well-endowed with other things: talent, hotness, humbleness, chest hair. We shan’t speak of it again. Now, undress me! [WOW]
Hot indie actor Mark Ruffalo took a break from being the hottest dude at Occupy Wall Street in order to film “Thanks For Sharing” with Gwyneth Paltrow. Thank god the paparazzi exist to remind us that everyone, including Mark Ruffalo and perfectly perfect Gwyneth Paltrow, looks just ridiculous making out. [Dlisted]
Occupy Wall Street got its biggest — if briefest — celeb occupier on Monday when Kanye West showed up at Liberty Square/Zuccotti Park in Lower Manhattan and pow-wowed with Russell Simmons. Simmons was there showing his support for the movement, and while Kanye has yet to say what he thought of his time among the eclectic community of occupiers, Simmons had this to say:
“It was amazing to see how people loved seeing Kanye West at Occupy Wall Street. His music and his art has always been about the voice and the power of the people. Kanye just wanted to come down and experience the growing movement that has opened the eyes of many around this country and around the world of the struggles of poor people. The energy at Liberty Plaza was electrifying and the momentum to get the money out of politics is growing quickly.”
If Kanye’s interest is genuine, awesome, but I hope reports that he wore a gold grill for the visit are untrue. A Givenchy shirt is one thing, but a gold grill is just so … how should I put this? … one percent. [Global Grind, Village Voice]
Here are 11 other celeb occupiers down at Liberty Square…
A year after starring in the show “Californication,” a series about a novelist who can’t say no to sex among other vices, David Duchovny checked himself into rehab for sex addiction for real. Let’s hope the same fate does not await Tim Robbins and Mark Ruffalo. They have just signed on to star in “Thanks For Sharing,” a flick about sex addicts in an AA-like program in New York City. Perhaps the fact that this story takes place on the opposite coast will help? Also, I’m going to guess this project speaks to them for other reasons than that they identify with the addiction. Perhaps they both were attracted to the movie because it’s being directed by Ruffalo’s friend, Stuart Blumberg, who co-wrote “The Kids Are All Right”? [Huffington Post] Keep reading »
I’m very excited for the Oscars this Sunday — I am a sucker for an awards show, especially during years when I like a lot of the nominated films and actors. For example, I love Mark Ruffalo, who is nominated for one of my favorite movies of the year, “The Kids Are Alright.” And I love him even more now that I know we both were brace-faces. And are those rubber bands I see? Sigh. Check out more hilarious photos of Oscar nominees before they were stars, including a shy James Franco and Jeremy Renner with a radical flattop, here.
