Mara Hoffman’s “Hysterical Levitation” Fashion Video Is Hysterical

When designer Mara Hoffman presented her collection at Fashion Week this year, she went the artsy route by projecting a psychedelic film in the background as her models walked the runway. Hopefully, viewers were distracted by her designs, because if they had wanted a movie, they got something totally different. “Hysterical Levitation” is sort of like “The Blair Witch Project” meets M. Night Shyamalan’s “The Village” set to modern dance — until they all realize they’re tripping on acid, and everything is happy. If you have a better interpretation, we’d like to hear it.
